This was the correct item for the product and although it caused the light to go on for 3 or 4 seconds, it quickly went black and did not charge the product. Thankfully I found the original charger and the original works, so I did receive a defective product.

This charger was a perfect fit for my Shark hand vac. Changed it right up in less than a hour and now the vac is working again.
