Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fabric, very soft. The tail is long so it is great for almost all ages. My daughter is 5 and can pull this all the way over top her head with a little extra length. Colors seem to be exactly as pictured, not faded or different shades than what is shown.

My 3 year old daughter has been asking for a “mermaid blanket” for weeks. Her older sister has one and she sleeps with it every night, she has had it since she was 1. I had gotten it at TJ Max over 5 years ago so I wasn’t sure where to look to buy another one, so I headed to amazon! Not only was this blanket more affordable, it is SO soft and is exactly like the picture! Couldn’t be happier!

My daughter uses it everyday, during day time when reading a book or watching her favorite cartoon and sometimes during the nighttime with an additional blanket. She had another one before but she grew out of it. The glitter on it makes it look fancier than the other one she had, although it is not thicker but softer than the one she had. I recommend it specially as a gift for girl that are obsessed with mermaids.
