We needed this to transfer some old mini VHS tapes to digital. It worked well. Easy to use. Super fun to get to watch decades old home videos again. You can't really put a price on that. I'd spend practically any amount of money to watch my 25 year old son run around the house as a toddler again.

Really disappointed with this one. I managed to break it in less than 5 minutes. There is a button on the device labeled "on". What exactly is that supposed to mean? Probably makes perfect sense if you haven't a clue about English. Didn't work for me, and it started to "eat" a priceless tape from long ago. I'm going to order something else. I did have an adapter cassette that came with my late 80s era JVC VHS-C camcorder. That one worked amazingly well as I recollect.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas so he could watch our old videos we have had in storage for years. Brought tears of happiness!

This works great in my VCR. I have several camcorder tapes and the y play great with this adapter!

I played 3 VHS-C tapes in this somewhat successfully (over 2 days). It went through almost one new battery per tape. Then, on the 4th one, it stopped in the middle of loading up the tape. Changed batteries twice again but it did not help. It has my tape trapped inside. This is horrible junk. Do not waste your money or risk your family’s treasured memories.

This thing sounded like a 747 taking off when I tried to use it. I would not recommend.

Didn't work installed new battery and the piece of junk didn't work waste of money no wonder nobody reviewed it
