Great resonator but if you are looking to go quieter this is not for you. I have a 3†single exit installed on my g37 and I bought this in hopes of quieting it down just a little bit and it actually sounds as if it’s louder. On the up side tho, it def gave the car a way deeper and girthy tone so I’m happy with it for now. 1st photo shows the res welded in place onto my 3†piping. 2nd photo shows a little skid plate I bent up and added because my car is lowered and this resonator does hang down a little low for my comfort. Better safe than sorry

This took care of taking the cabin drone and vibration on an MK7 R with an aftermarket DP and Exhaust to a much more tolerable level at the same time keeping the overall sweet sound that I didn’t want to lose.

So i added this onto the after market exhaust system i have for my 2017 WRX. It is constructed well and has a flow through design that should have minimal impact on performance and flow. My first drive leaving the muffler shop, i did not notice a thing, it was still loud (IMO). After a few days some aspects of the exhaust noise started getting different, first the deceleration noise was quieter. Now the tone has gotten deeper but still drones, i hope maybe there's a break in period and it will get better but as it is, i may have to get a new exhaust system.

I had a local muffler shop weld this into my aftermarket cat-back exhaust system (it was a bit too loud for my tastes). This did help a little bit, though it wasn't like a complete makeover. The pitch deepened some and the volume inside the car is a tad better, but you can't expect a miracle.
