Practical Functions for Construction Math
Designed for efficiency when doing construction-related math. Dimensions can be entered in the US Imperial system (feet, inches, fractions of inches, pounds, etc.) or the metric system. Time-saving built-in functions allow problems like materials estimations, roofing equations, stair and framing calculations, concrete volume, and more to be solved by entering the variables and letting the calculator do all the math for you to get direct answers. The calculator features several industry-standard measurements such as stair riser heights built-in to the memory of the unit, which can be changed to different settings for your project needs.
Designed for On-Site and Handheld Usage
This construction calculator is made to easily be held in one's hand for on-site usage. A protective outer case keeps the calculator safe from drops or liquid spills, and a grip design on the case allows one to keep a firm hold on the unit without it slipping. The cover of the case can be folded back and latched in place to keep it compact.
Ready to Go Right Out of the Box
The Victor C6000 comes with a pocket guide in both English and Spanish versions that fits into a compartment in the back of the calculator. A quick start guide with directions on how to work in dimensional units is located on the inside of the case cover, and an alternative Spanish version is included as a sticker to overlay it. The box also includes QR codes to access demonstration videos and the PDF version of the full manual for download. Two LR-44 batteries are included

As a scientist I always used my scientific calculator to crunch the numbers manually for my dyi projects, until I saw a guy using a construction calculator while building a roof. I ordered this the same night. Wow! It saves so much time, allows me to so easily run different scenarios to plan my build. Even if you are an engineer or a scientist, this calculator will help you with DYI projects, especially if you measure in ft and inches

I had to down load the instructions manual, in order to figure out how to use this calculator. As long as you have the instruction manual handy. This calculator works great.

My husband loves this calculator. He's a mechanic, and sawyer who regularly builds and works with wood. He said it takes the guess work out of a lot of situations where you need to know how much of something you need to complete a project.

Unfortunately this lasted less than 6 months before dying. Thought it was just the battery but replaced that, it turned on for a second and then died completely. It was always taken care of, never dropped, so for the money this is disappointing. Thought it would have more longevity.
