All parts fit exactly on the starter for my 81 f150, went together seamlessly. Unfortunately, the magnets in the casing were to worn down, and it just wouldnt go fast enough to engage the flywheel. I figured it was worth a try.

Bushing for the nose of the starter was too long for my application. If the nose on my starter had been drilled to full depth it would have fit. I just chucked it up in the drill press and cut it to size with a dremel. Also if your ground brushes are riveted in you may need to clearance the brush holder to clear the end of the provided screws. Overall worked well and included the drive mechanism that was broken in my starter.
