This protective mat is the perfect size for our kitchen island that is made of quartz.I was a little concerned with trying to protect / maintain the countertop and I found this product in my quick Amazon search.It sits pretty much flush after you tape the corners down and put some weight (books) on the end that was rolled into the center of the cylindrical shipping container. I think it took a couple of days to get it flattened.This product is semi-clear so you can still see the design in the quartz but it is pretty thick so I am comfortable with having some hot dishes directly on top.I still use a cork trivet for situations where we have a pot of stew if we want to serve that on the island.Easy to clean and so far has not discolored.

Love it . It really helps protect my table from messes. It is just the right size for my table and the thickness is just right. It is easy to clean too. There was no smell to it when i opened the package. It did take a minute for the ends to lay flat since it came rolled up, but eventually it flattened out.

I would have probably given this five stars if not for the fact that the measurements were not exact. I made sure to measure my table and ordered the size that exactly matched my table top. It is about a quarter inch longer than it should be which means that it overhangs the end of the table just slightly on each end. I could try to trim it but the overhanging bit is so small that I’m afraid I would end up cutting it TOO much.It is thick enough to protect the top of our new dining table and I like that it’s clear so it doesn’t hide the beautiful wood.It does come rolled up and it was rather difficulty to get it to lay flat. I used a hair drier to heat around the edges to help get it to flatten out but it DID take a while and even then the end wasn’t completely flat. Over a few weeks time it has flattened out sufficiently though.If I owned an iron I might have tried placing a THICK towel on top of it and ironing around the edges.Overall I believe it’s a good product for the price and is worth the effort of working with it a bit to flatten it out if you’re looking to protect your table but still be able to see the wood finish.

If you want clean, scratch free table surfaces then this is it. It’s thick enough to hold anything on it. My kids color, paint, eat, play with cars at the table but my table is still in perfect shape! Worth buying

Crystal clear. Didn’t take long at all to flatten out. Easy to wipe clean. Can be trimmed to fit the exact dimensions of table if desired.

The Clear Table Protector Plastic Tablecloth Cover does a great job of protecting my table from scratches and stays securely in place without slipping. It’s a practical solution for preserving the table’s surface, and I’m happy with how well it works in that regard.However, the material stains very easily and is quite difficult to clean. To address this, I now use it underneath a tablecloth, which eliminates the worry of staining or frequent cleaning. It’s a good protector overall, but better suited for use under another layer if you want to avoid visible stains.

I saw these were on sale so , I decided to replace my existing one. I purchased the frosted style, which on my wood table works well. It doesn’t show air bubbles against the wood underneath as the clear styles I have noticed. Right now, I have it just over the bare wood and when company comes or I just want to change things up, I will put a fabric tablecloth down and a protector on top. I like the effect of being able to have the material from the cloth flowing around the sides of the table while, ensuring no food or drink will stain the surface of the tablecloth. For decades, I would always use a full coverage sides included, basic thin plastic tablecloth protector. I never really cared for the look of that though. I also think these are easier to wipe down and maintain. To me this has a cleaner neater look as well. The price and product are great so, I’m happy to have come across it.

Originally I ordered the clear plastic table cover, obviously in error. Air bubbles would pop up and no matter the suggestions I followed, the air bubbles returned overnight. Please save yourself the time and trouble if you plan on placing the plastic covering on a wooden table top. This FROSTED cover works like a charm. I had to cut mine as I couldn't order the proper size and it was very easy to cut and looks fantastic on the table.

It is durable and does the job of protecting the cultured marble table top. So far, so great! Adequate thickness and it doesn't have that pungent odour. It may be a challenge to unroll but you can roll it the opposite direction.

was abit big they didnt have my size, easy to cut with an exacto knife after we outlined the measurements needed with a black marker and then proceeded to cut on the table top.. rather expensive though, price shouldnt be that high for plastic...took off a star for being over priced
