This is my first ever capture card and I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s small.Fairly easy to use I just make it overly complicated with an HDMI switcher lol.If I ever had issues with nothing showing up, I’d simply unplugged the blue cable for 3.0 and plug it back in and that almost always fixed everything.If not, it was usually an issue with OBS for my own computer.I use the steam deck as my main computer, and I gotta say it works perfectly to bounce back-and-forth between the PS4 and the steam deck with the sweatshirt and the capture card captures everything without any issues.I cannot vouch for the cost as I don’t really know if that’s good or not since it’s my first one.Nor can I vouch for the highest quality because everything I do is 720 P or 1080P 30 to 60 FPS.So like basic haha.If you’re worried about lag or anything, I honestly wouldn’t worry since I use this on my laptop with OBS because I didn’t have a monitor for my PS4 and I was able to play games pretty smoothly.There might’ve been starters, but I didn’t notice anything.Personally, I think the price is just perfect.I have seen that other cash cards allow you to capture the audio separate or listen to the audio through the card itself or something along those lines.But I like this one better to be honest

This is a wonderful Video Capture Card. Works perfect as it should. It needs a 5 volts power supply in order to have a pass-through video. If you use a capture software with no power supply, video will pass-through while capturing, as soon you close the capture software, it will stop passing-through video. I have mine installed directly from game console, TV and Computer 24/7, and it is there when I need it all the time. I am considering buying a second one. RECOMMENDED!

just received it opened the box comes with the hdmi and usb plug and instructions and thats it. no 5 volt power adapter with it. follow the instructions plugged in nothing no signal found on any laptop or playstation or tv. its trash with no power adapter cant use it with out. false avertisement since they show the power adapter and doesnt come with one . very pissed off cause i bought it to stream with and its now a paper weight. boxing up and shipping back. dont fall for the misleading ad . they need to state that it does not come with or work with out the 5 volt adapter. i have searched amazon for an adapter and cant find one. this does not say how many watts to get just a 5 vot dc is it 2a 2000 or what so many different adapters

I use OBS as the software for capture on a Windows 10 PC laptop. Once you set up OBS for the first recording, subsequent setup for recordings on the same computer are quick and easy. The loop feature is particularly nice because you can tap into the HDMI connections with minimal interruption. This makes it great if you need to do your recordings on a portable basis.

I bought this to replace the UCEC CAM NOVA Video Capture Card which started malfunctioning after using a heavy HDMI that ruined the CAM NOVA's port while switching to another HDMI. I have an HDMI switcher attached to this capture card to prevent the same problem from happening with the CAMNOVA.Pros: - The DIGIT NOW HDMI Video Capture Card with Loop is made of a metal casing which adds to the weight of the card making it feel sturdy.- Comes with a 24-inch male-to-male 3.0 USB which is great to not have the capture card directly attached to the CPU like the CAMNOVA.Cons:- The instructions are lacking. For example, I haven't the slightest clue as to WHY there's a DC 5V port. What do I want to power with it????? What's the point of it?? I need answers!!- I don't know if the drivers for CAMNOVA and DIGIT NOW are the same, but the instructions state that you must choose USB3.0 HD VIDEO in OBS. Because I already had CAMNOVA previously installed, OBS won't recognize this new device. I uninstalled the drivers for CAMNOVA, restarted the computer, then plugged in the DIGIT NOW. It still wasn't working. I then went to StreamYard and it had no problem reading the DIGIT NOW capture card. I decided to try it on another account in the same computer and it magically works on the other account but not my main account. I don't know what to do to make it work on my main account and I have wasted too much time trying to figure it out on a product that is supposed to be "plug and play."Conclusion: If this is your first capture card, then l buy it. You probably won't have my same problem and it runs smoothly without lag.If this card is a replacement, then be careful that you don't run into my same problems.

I have had several video capture devices in the past, but this one far excedes the others. This is very easy to setup and operate! The picture quality is superb, and the sound is robust and clear.For the price this very much exceeds what I was expecting.I highly recommend this video capture device.
