I gave it 5- stars as a “starter” scrapbook, but I would not recommend this as a go-to scrapbook for memorabilia you want to archive and preserve. 3.5 to under 4-stars as a serious scrapbook.It’s very cute and came with everything as advertised, and I like how customizable the box, binder and pages are, but I don’t think that this scrapbook will hold up overtime. The quality of the materials feels cheap-ish and I don’t feel confident about its archival quality.I bought this as a “starter” scrapbook, because I am new to this hobby and don’t want to waste high quality scrapbook material until I know what I want to do with all of my photos and memorabilia and what items I will actually need.The reason I chose this as a “starter” is due to its low/competitive price (compared to similar scrapbooks listed on Amazon), the included add on’s (pens & stickers), and the binder feature (can add, remove and rearrange pages). I like that I can rearrange the order of pages, because I don’t know where to start in scrapbooking journey and this way I am not committed to any page being the first, middle or last page. Also, I can remove a page without ruining the scrapbook if I accidentally mess up a page.The quality is ok, but kinda cheap. It doesn’t feel or look like it will hold up very well over time. Like the pages look like they could tear out easily if they are flipped through often enough. BUT the pages I have been playing around with have held up very well to the heavy amount of the abuse inflicted by my indecisiveness over sticker and photo adhesive placement and rearrangement. I have placed and removed at least 100 adhesive photo-holders on two pages and when removing them, the page hasn’t torn or withered away. I’m impressed by that, even though some sticker residue is more visible on the black pages. One bummer about the actual black pages to consider is that the width is oddly shaped and small (L 10.25” x W 7”) compared to the actual binder itself (L 10.5” x W 8.25”). So keep in mind the size of the photos and memories you want use for this scrapbook. I have a lot of smaller older photos I want to use, but need to arrange in a funky way to make them fit. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m the end, I am using this as a starter scrapbook and I don’t plan on keeping the original photos in here as a final draft. (Will be using copies of my OG photos for this finished product as explained below).The binder itself looks like it can easily be dented and start falling apart if used frequently, but it’s also very customizable. Can be written or drawn on, have stickers added and/or the flower that’s advertised in the listing).I am also not very confident about its archival quality, which I will be mindful of when adding content to the pages. It reminds me of the scrapbooks my grandparents made in the 20-30’s, that were really cute, but didn’t age well (torn and crumbly pages, pictures that degraded over time or were torn apart from sticking to the page on top of it). I could see this scrapbook aging like one of those, soI plan to print out copies of the photos I want to use, just to be sure I’m not going to hurt the originals if this winds up aging poorly, and then I’m going to scan the pages as a backup storage.OVERALL: This is fun to play around with and to get an idea of what I want my final draft scrapbooks to look like. I also love the box it can in. It is very cute and customizable, but I feel like the box will outlast the the actual scrapbook. Just be aware that this may not protect your original photos or hold up long enough for your kids and grandkids to look through decades later.

Great quality for a good price. I love the scrapbooking accessories it came with. Good packaging as well

Daughter makes all kinds of stuff

My original photo book was larger. I didn’t realize that the book was too small, that’s why I gave it 4 stars which is my fault . I have several loose leaf binders for other projects but found out that the three holes do not line up to the same standard as a photo book. . I guess that’s done on purpose. The company I purchase my original photo book is not listed anymore. My photo book doesn’t hold a lot of pages. Therefore I am force to buy another album. What made it fill up so quickly is that I added junk journal material by adding stampier 12x12 paper and making envelopes and pockets to make the photographs more interesting and it really came out great. I hope it’s standard that all large photo books have the three ring binder in the same place plus I need black pages .

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter who wanted a mini photo printer for Christmas. My thinking is she will have a place to put her photos and do like a journal of her next few years as a teen! Memories! The extras such as the border tape, neon pens, stickers, etc are icing on the cake. Great quality and I know she will love it ! The pages are black. My guess is the neon pens will have a cool effect on those black pages!

This was a pretty good deal for the price, including neon pens and other things that help make a creative and good looking project. (I didn't use the cute flower for the cover, but it is a cute option.)I ALWAYS choose black paper because it's just more dramatic. 60 pages is enough for most projects and the three-ring style makes it easier to deal with and customize. I love the pens, because I always use something like that anyway. They don't last all that long (and I write a lot in my photo books), and you might run out of pretty ink mid-word. But I think there are enough of them, and duplicates of most colors, to last through a project. It is a little small for two 4x6 photos to a page, which is the norm size-wise, so you have to plan a little more carefully. Love it!

Pages are black, I saw the one photo in the product description with white pages and just assumed. But they are black.The gel pens go on looking like chalk. If you want saturated color for your writing you will have to write it multiple times over and over.Aside from that little let-down, everything else is as pictured. Stickers seem a little cheap but for the price probably decent.

I decided to put together a memory book for each of my daughters for Christmas.A bit of a trip down memory lane with stories and photo's of our family and some family history.Lovely books, plenty of pages and selection of stickers and embellishments to get started.I purchased extra stickers and gold marker pens to write as pages are black.Such good value.This project will keep me busy leading up to Christmas as the nights draw in.
