This totally exceeded my expectations. The construction of the headband is basically a 5 1/4" TUBE (no exposed seams top of bottom), folded over and sewn at the back with a single 1" 'band' seam. This means that it can be 1" wide, OR stretched at the front to the full 5 1/4" (unstretched) width, without looking odd at all.The versatility is amazing. Hairband, sweatband, head band ear covering, under helmet, under wig, covid mask, wind mask, etc. And the fabric is THIN and COOL and BREATHABLE, not sweaty or hot itself like terrycloth or some polyesters. It is definitely an adult size, probably wouldn't work as well for a child because it's relatively big around, but perfect for any size adult. NICE!Am not sure about sweat absorption, but given the number of folds in the fabric, I'd expect it would hold a lot of sweat. Good price, good value, great fabric, very happy with these!

4 fashionable headbands - very comfortable, versatile, won't give you a headache and can expand to cover almost your entire head - relatively light and somewhat absorbent, to the extent that the sweat won't drip into your eyes, but definitely NOT as absorbent as a cotton based headband - I would generally recommend these for most workouts especially if you bike outdoors under your helmet, but probably not so much for someone engaging in a high cardio where you are likely to sweat heavily as you release heat through your scalp - those workouts need a more traditional sweat absorbing cotton type headband or a bandana ...

I work out on a regular basis, both jogging and lifting and these are great to keep sweat out of your eyes.As some reviews notes, these aren't as absorbent as old school "terry cloth" headbands but they do hold a good amount of liquid. After a 5 mile run yesterday, I was able to wring out a good amount of sweat.They are stretchy and would seem to fit most head sizes. For reference, I wear a 7 1/2 fitted hat.Speaking of hats, these are thin enough to wear under a ball cap to save your caps from dreaded sweat rings.They can be configured as more of a traditional sweat band or as I am wearing them in the pictures, more like a head band.They are easy to clean but as some other reviews noted can be minor chore to fold back into the head band shape.I use them every workout and it saves me from having to carry around something to wipe my face. If they get full of liquid, it is easy enough to squeeze it out or put on a dry one!I definitely recommend them?

My wife and I are master gardeners and have 3 acres that require a lot of tending; weeding, planting, etc. Most of the maintenance requires being in a bent over position, so when I sweat, (and my body creates a LOT of sweat), it drips down my forehead, over my eyebrows and onto my glasses... constantly!!! It takes the joy out of gardening when one is constantly having to stop every couple of minutes to wipe the sweat off their forehead before it drips on their glasses. I always wear a hat, but once the hat gets soaked, (which doesn't take long), the dripping starts. I have also tried "workout" type sweat bands, but the same thing happens. When my wife found these on Amazon and asked me if I wanted to try them, I said yes hoping it would be a solution, but not expecting results. I have been using these bands for a couple of months now and I am VERY surprised that they work!! They are 100% effective for preventing sweat from dripping off of my forehead and onto my glasses. They initially seemed a bit tight when I started using them, but they must stretch a little over time, because I don't notice any tightness anymore... and I never got a headache from them, (as some of the negative reviews indicate). I highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase it again!!

I live in a humid area; I am older; I perspire a lot. I've used cotton-headbands in the past but have found them hard to use when wearing a cap, a cap as directed by my ophthalmologist. Upon delivery, I was skeptical as these headbands are very thin and felt a little snug; I wear a size 73/4 hat; I did not think the material would prevent perspiration from cascading into my eyes. After about 8 walks, I'm exceptionally satisfied with the purchase. The products work, are comfortable even with larger head circumference; allow a fitted cap to be worn in a standard position. The pack allows to wash and dry bands without ever being without a clean one.

I recommend getting the ugly, thick, old school cotton sweatbands as they simply absorb way more sweat.

works as intended. using it while riding on my trainer. i swear a lot so at times i do need to use a towel to wipe the sweat from my forehead. i recommend
