Loved feel of Journal, perfectly lined Pages and caused giftee to immediately start writing her thoughts and memories. Great gift for those that already journal, but especially for any of those that have yet to start. This should do well for me as I work to combine two separate journals I have been keeping, each for a different purpose. The A5 size fits in my purse and the various features are good for my tracking - date, page numbers, building a table of contents. Basically, all things that I have created in blank notebooks over the last few years. I look forward to having everything in one place and it looks good, too! My boring daily journal and game tracking deserved an upgrade.

Very nice, and love the tree design on this diary. Being a hardcover diary lends to the durability. Three ribbon bookmarks didn't know that was there, the elastic band to hold the pages down and the place of a pen to be affixed to the book is very convenient. Now I have to get a special pen just for journaling as this time should be memorable and enjoyable. I use this for my gratitude book. The pages are substantial then are not thin. Book is a nice size easy to store and handle. Will purchase more.

Bought this journal as a Christmas present to myself. The oversized leather-like cover has a recessed depiction of the Tree of Life on the cover (I chose a deep, dark green). The pages are lined, has a little box with the days of the week on each one, the pages are sturdy and the edges are gilt. There are several ribbons to help you keep your place. There is also an index in the front, which makes this item very versatile. I use it for a daily journal (diary) and write in it with my Webson Gill fountain pen, which does not bleed through the pages.
