Check out the other review for pictures that mirror what happened to my authentic Aeron pads. The new pads are harder and more like classic arms, but honestly I suspect that means they're going to be quite a bit more durable (will update if they're not). Installation was a breeze and they fit out-of-the box without any real effort.

The original pads on my Aeron remastered chair started to tear at the sides. These were a great replacement option instead of dishing out the $180 or so for herman miller genuine replacement arm pads. They have firm padding like the originals but time will tell how these break down. I will edit this review with future info should it come to that. The texture on the replacement pads are very similar to the original ones as well. These replacements don't have as deep/rough of a texture, but they are much closer to the originals than they are slick.
