The best thing I've found to keep my vinyl safe from potential water or fire damage. While I don't see them holding out for hours, these will provide more then anything else I've seen. Durable with good handles for carrying. If you want to store yours, these work well. I'm buying more.

Package arrived earlier than scheduled, which was nice...but then I opened it. One set of the two packs was open, plastic cover was loose. Both packs were missing the label inserts.So seems like used or returned products, which I did not see in the description. Although that would explain the better price than the first set I bought, it should have been clearly labeled if they were used or returned.Aside from all that, the boxes worked great for my albums.

These locking vinyl storage boxes are perfection! You can put them away flat when not in use, but are very sturdy and secure when it use, impressive!The locks work great and the zippers are excellent quality. I especially like the handles on the side for easy carrying.I ended up loaning one to my sister temporarily. She has a kiddo waking up at night to play on electronics, and she needed a good locking box for all the games and tablets. It's working well for that too, it's easy to port around the house when needed and it holds a ton securely.The fabric looks good and feels durable and protective. I bet it could withstand a fire safely. They were quick to setup, and are easy to use. This is a great product well worth it's list price, and I'm very likely to purchase it in the future, for myself and as a gift for one of my older nephews.5 stars!

The bags/boxes were easily opened up and ready for use within seconds of unpackaging. They are quite thin in their collapsed and folded state. The bottom panels were separate, and when dropped into the bottom, they gave the whole box strength and support. I was pleasantly surprised at how strong these boxes are for being kind of a hybrid of soft and hard side. The are able to hold quite a bit of weight and even stack very well.Fireproof fabric covers the entire unit and feel a lot like dry bag material. It is very durable and definitely seems like it should hold up to a lot of wear and tear. The zipper is also strong with two pulls which can be trapped by the combination zipper lock on the front. I am not too concerned about the security of the contents since I am only using these for personal storage, so I don’t really use that feature.There are four open top external pockets (no internal) which are located on the sides. They are thin but very spacious in the other two dimensions. I really like the clear vinyl business-card-sized ID window on the front for placing a removable contents label. I like using a QR code for flexibility when changing the contents. The handles on the top and sides are very securely stitched with a crossed square pattern. To round off the features, there are four wide rubber feet on the bottom, which are much larger than many other similar bags. I always like these little upgrades.All things considered, I think this is a great set of bags.

They're compact as they collapse flat when not in use & each box is strong enough when set-up to hold up to 100 LP's or roughly 150/lbs. Each crate also has a lid, carrying handles & a locking mechanism so you can protect your most precious records.Each crate measures roughly 13 inches x 13 inches. They are a nice black color, so they'll fit most any decor.I highly recommend this 2-pack of record LP crates/boxes & give this item a 5-star rating!!!

I got some vinyl storage boxes later year. They were made of a canvas type material and there was nothing wrong with them per se, but I'm glad I took the opportunity to upgrade to these boxes.First of all, they are more spacious than my old boxes. The same amount of records fit much better than they used to. Plus, I love that there's a little spot for a card to label the contents AND there are carrying handles on the side. There is even a locking feature for those who want to keep their collection secure from curious little hands or sneaky thieving hands.Overall, I am very happy with these record storage boxes and I would recommend them to others.

These are certainly water resistant, but I'm not going to test them in a fire. I'm not using the lock function and not really sure why it would be necessary to lock up your records just to store them, but it's an option if you want it. I'm just using these to keep my vinyl safe in my basement, and for that purpose they're great. I do wish they had a little more structure or reinforcement to the top of them. When filled with records, they're VERY heavy and I don't want to put one on top of the other as the top pushes down a bit, and I imagine puts pressure on the records inside. Taking one star off for that. Otherwise, very happy with these. They seem well constructed and the rubberized exterior gives me confidence if I ever had a few inches of water in my basement for some unlucky reason, my vinyl would be safe.
