Got this for my wife to help her store her records. I like that it has the metal wrapped corners, which not only look nice but also offer protection. I didn't expect it to be waterproof, but that's a nice bonus. I wouldn't suggest tossing it into the lake or anything, but it's nice to know that if some rain gets on the case her records will still be safe. Other than that, it's a nice case for keeping your records safe at home or while you're traveling. Happy with the purchase.

First, I will say that I really like this case. It seems very sturdy and I am not worried about my vinyl in it. It has a felt like interior, so the covers won't get scratched. It is not terribly heavy on its own. The handle is comfortable and it has metal hardware on the covers to further help protect the case from damage.It is very pink. Pesto pink. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but if you like pink, you will be ok with this.Now. The part I'm unsure about. The more I use it, the more I like it, but the hinge is open. In the stock images it looks like you can keep the top standing straight up, but you can't. If you are careful, you can keep it on and open, but it is just easier to take it off when open. Again, the more I use it, the more I appreciate being able to keep it open. I have the case sitting open next to my player with my most played vinyl in it and I like it. It does hold a fair number of albums, but I only keep about 10-15 in it as I use it for active storage. I can add more if I want to travel with them.

this record storage case isn't my favorite. i love the pink color it comes in and it's sized correctly to be able to store vinyl, but it's just not sturdy enough for the kind of use i was looking for. i have been trying to store my signed vinyl separate from my main collection and have been using these types of cases for that purpose. but every time i try to add or remove a vinyl from the case, the lid snaps off. i can't tell if it's meant to do that (i.e. for storage/carry purposes vs. display purposes) but it's super annoying that i can't get the lid to stay on if i want it to. the build of the case itself isn't very heavyweight either - which can be a pro as it makes it easier to carry, but it doesn't feel very durable. particularly with the lid issue, i wonder if this will do a good job protecting my vinyl in the end - i am very wary of that lid dropping on my sentimental collection when i'm trying to just access my vinyl. overall i'm disappointed but i wish it had worked better since the color is so nice.

I did not read the reviews before I purchased this, and then perhaps like you came to read that the product almost always arrives without the hinges attached. None of the pictures depict that the lid should come off completely on this product, but it does, you have to completely remove the lid When putting in records or hold it just so in place. One of the things that the product description touts is the strong hinges, however, it doesn’t have hinges at least not functional ones.

This vinyl record storage case is a great choice for keeping collectibles safe and organized, whether it’s vinyl records or otherwise. Personally, I’m using mine to store my large binder of autographed photos and some other memorabilia I’ve collected over the years. The sturdy metal edges of the case provide excellent protection, and the soft interior lining prevents scratches. In regard to vinyl records, it holds up to 50 albums, but the possibilities are endless. While the bold pink color might not be for everyone – definitely ‘Pepto pink’ – it adds a fun, vibrant touch if you’re into that style. I do, however, wish the lid was more secure for carrying, but overall, it’s a solidly built, highly functional storage option for anything you want to keep safe.

This is a well made case and warrants its price point. The walls of the case are nice and thick, there's a thin, felt-like lining, and everything is attached together nicely. The handle is very sturdy and so is the hardware. There doesn't seem to be anything about this case that will break or wear out overtime. It's also super cute and fits right in aesthetically alongside some of the vintage cases I own.I'm torn on the lid. It's detachable so if I'm opening the case too quickly and not paying attention to keeping it aligned, it falls off. But I also like that I can have the case completely open without the lid getting in the way which is definitely an annoyance I have with some of my other cases.Ultimately, I don't consider the detachable lid a pro or a con. It just comes down to personal preference. It's genuinely a five star case either way!
