These expo neon window markers work awesome for the viper illumiscore dart scoreboard. The pens that the scoreboard comes with are powdery liquid chalk pens. These are nice normal, wet, dry erase markers. They wipe off very easily too. They are about $7 and worth switching over to. The board itself is easy to wipe clean and hasn’t scratched with any towel or paper that I use. I’ve had it on quite a bit and the first round of batteries are still working. I wish the pen holder ledge was bigger, but it still works.

Lights up great and markers show up nicely. I changed out the markers to Expo neon markers. Pic doesn’t do much justice but in person the colors look great.

Bought 2 for Christmas gifts. Shame on you for providing a incomplete & defective product after almost 40 years in business.Lights up really bright on batteries. The approved power supply disables the light when plugged in, so it only works on batteries when the cord is not plugged in. All backlit acrylic displays should have a black background. Disappointed that this major detail was overlooked in the production of this scoreboard but included it in the pictures. Clearly you knew this was the case but failed to include it in your product. Now we can’t build the dartboard sets for Christmas until we get adhesive vinyl ordered & delivered. This increases my costs & creates undue stress during the already hectic holidays.I would suggest immediately updating the item with a black background as advertised & shown in the pictures & a power supply that works correctly.For customers who have already purchased this defective & incomplete item, you should provide provide replacement units that work correctly & have the appropriate backing &/or provide a complete refund & a major discount on further purchases from your company.

I really don’t understand the poor reviews. It is truly an illuminated scoreboard. When people describe (negatively) “how†it is illuminated, they don’t understand that this is how it should be done. And it works well. Mine is perfectly illuminated. And even the negative comments about it being clear...It is clearly clear. It shows it clear. I guess there is confusion because there is also a pic with a black background. (Which you can modify it to have) But even against an off white wall, it works quite well. And although it might be a tad small (for other games) it is easily large enough for scoring cricket. I have not mounted it yet, but in the pic, I’m holding it up against a “white†wall. It looks like a dark background due to the shadowing caused by the illumination.I followed other reviewers advice and purchased neon liquid chalk. This will be a great and convenient addition to my lounge.

This looks great when lit. Just know that it is not a black board. Your options are clear glass with white trim on top & bottom or ckear glass with black trim on top & bottom. Not side trim. No options between a black board or a clear board. Just clear gkass. Whatever your wall color is behind the glass scoreboard is the color that will come through.

Great Addition to my boardThis is a reasonably priced scoreboard that works great. It should be placed a at from the dartboard itself as if hit darts will mar the plastic surface. Overall a great product that I would recommend
