Genuine viper remote and works great! Just make sure it's the right one for your system! I was gonna get a two pack but needed faster shipping and it came in perfect time.I got this cause my original one cracked the case. Definitely worth it just to grab another one instead of cheap shells for the old remotes.Worth the price and it's a perfect replacement. Would definitely recommend getting some fresh batteries for it just in case. Definitely get some energizers and this thing will go all year of multiple drives a day. Cheap batteries just don't last long.These usually last for about a year before the rubber face unglues and falls off lol lasts about 2 years if you glue it back together. Lasts about 3 years if you still a hole in the bottom after the keyring part breaks off lol.Definitely worth the price and easy to program!

and this came up first! I destroyed my last key fob for my Viper. I kept dropping my keys and the fob just took the brunt of it. Now, whenever I’m out and about, I’ve CLIPPED MY KEYS ONTO MY BELT LOOP. The instructions that came with the fob… I’m sure they must’ve been well thought out, but I just went straight to my friend’s car audio shop and he reconnected the new fob. Hope you have one of these people as a friend too…

Whoever said this is easy to program lied. The instructions it comes with aren't clear and don't list the model I purchased on them. Not only that, I went on YouTube to try and find instructions and THOSE didn't work either. I bought this to avoid going to the place that installed my automatic start but I'm going to end up having to go there anyway so it was a waste of my time and money

The instructions say to push the button on the in-car device a certain number of times, and then push again and hold while pushing the lock button on the remote. The number of pushes can vary according to how it was installed, and the instructions don't mention this. I tried several combinations until I found the correct number, which for me was 3. The way you can tell when you find the correct number is when the blue light on the in-car device flashes. If your system is attached to the car horn or alarm, that will also sound when you get the correct number. Good luck, keep trying.
