This device DOES NOT grip the Upper receiver properly. It leaves gaps allowing movement. Also, the two pieces of this block do not fit together when an upper is encased in it. If you try to tighten the vice you will bend the upper and damge your equipment. DO NOT BUY. I will be returning mine immediately.

This product fits very well on my Ruger AR556. A must have for when a barrel or barrel nut has to come off. Made it too easy..

I used this for my PSA 15 upper. Worked but is not a professional vise block. But like I said, it worked for me to tighten the barrel nut.

Just straight up did not fit my mil spec upper. Even tried removing a few extra bits but this is just straight up incorrectly designed.

item may work ok have not used it yet since the very cold has hit here, but took like 10 days or something before item was even shipped after the order was placed. This is not usual business for Amazon orders

Absolutely does not fit properly. This vise block is absolute junk and will result in damage if you use it. It does not allow for full support of the receiver.

I was disappointed with this upper vise block. It does not fit an upper receiver properly—there’s a noticeable gap, and the fit is loose. Because of this, the upper moves around when being worked on, which not only makes it difficult to perform tasks but also risks damaging the receiver. A vise block should hold the upper securely, but this one falls short. I would not recommend it for anyone looking to properly secure their AR upper for maintenance or assembly.
