- The nylon rod can be bent up to 45 degrees, which is convenient for using in various shapes of chimneys (However, it is recommended to bend the rod greater than 90 degrees for longer life).
- The rod is made of reinforced nylon, which is tough, not easy to break, and flexible to use. It can be easily bent to 90 degrees and will not break.
- A 17.4-inch diameter brush head with strong nylon rope in a special sharp-edged rectangular shape can fit chimney brushes from 4 to 28 inches.
- It is very safe and convenient to use this chimney cleaning kit, without climbing on the roof to clean the chimney or moving the fireplace by bottom-up sweeping.
- Use drills with a speed range from 350rpm. to 2000rpm., recommending for 24V and above DC power, or 500W and above AC power.

I could have got a defective part but out of 9 sticks, 2 got disconnected and damaged inside the chimney and had to call chimney sweep to pull it from outside and complete the job.Contacted customer service and they will be sending me a replacement.replacement received, and while I think it was just a defective piece/stick, the kit works as expected. I have 6 ft horizontal section, 90 degree elbow and 16 ft vertical section at 6in diameter.

This is a great product. I have no complaints! I have a 25’ tall chimney flume on a wood burning insert. It has 2 x 90 degree bends and the poles made it through with no issues at all. Very flexible, durable and thick. The pins that hold it together are tight. I had more difficulty trying to get them apart than the worry I had that they would come apart inside the chimney! Very secure. For chimney’s only! Do not use this on your dryer vent, the brush is designed for chimneys and not dryer vents. Buy a separate tool for that.I was signing Chim Chim Cher-ee from Mary Poppins the whole time! The task took all of 20 minutes and little mess after 10 years of no cleaning. Sweep up and wash hands.This is a very well made product designed to last years if not decades!

Cleaned two different chimneys and it took less time than the traditional way having to go from top to bottom for just cleaning one. Very easy and very sturdy to use. No more climbing on the roof or having to rent a man lift to clean the chimney!

Worked great! FYI- keep a shop vac running in the firebox to catch all the junk that this knocks loose. I was surprised at how much fell. Definitely worth it!
