I purchased this to streamline the process and it has done just that. I’m able to place rock wool or soul directly into the tray. The dome with vents is great and I’m able to control the humidity within fairly easily. The leds fit securely into the lid and have adjustable power and timers for all cycles. The heating pad works great! Makes it super easy to keep the unit at a constant temp. It’s a bit flimsy as far as the plastic but that’s pretty much expected. Easy to clean up and start a new round. I’d definitely recommend this!

Pros:-Lots of cells for seedlings-tall humidity dome so seedlings can grow-retains moisture well-little slots on dome for lights-good germination rate with the lights-lots of supplies for the price, decent bundleCons:-not very sturdy, especially the cells. The plastic is thin and crinkly. i won’t be able to reuse the cells more than once or twice.-flimsy cells makes it hard to bottom water as that tray bends a lot with the weight of the soil and water-lights not great past germination stage, my seedlings ended up thin and spindly

This thing is the bomb. Plant growth and germination have no choice for those warmer weather plants. It seems very sturdy and the lights are pretty bright. The light has a timer which is great and it even comes with a heating pad. It’s super easy to set up and also fun! Me and my kids loved it. We will see how it does as we just put all the soil and seeds in.

Works well with seeds but has very low clearance with cuttings. 3" Max. I guess the lights are nice for the first week, but they flop around and generate a ton of heat for plants that barely need any light. Maybe that will be helpful instead of problematic in the winter. The vents don't really vent much. With the dome on and vented it's always 90% humidity at least.Now all the nasty is over, everything has germinated and rooted in under 2 weeks though It was a labor intensive effort keeping the right ranges. Id just buy a clear tote if you were slightly handy.

This product is easy to set up and maintains humidity well. I planted my seeds a couple of weeks ago and so far 9 have sprouted. The temperature stays steady and the plants seem to love it.

Honestly unimpressed due to the lights inability to maintain previous settings on power failure. After spending $35 more to get two sets of lights, and then when my other timed lights kick on, these stay off, and i have to manually turn them back on when I see it. Furthermore, if you adjust the brightness, it will also go back to full blast every time you turn them on.I also falsy made the assumption that the lights locked into the lids somehow. They do not. They just casually rest on the lids, which leaves you fighting with them every time you want to open the top. And that is further a problem given how much heat they generate. The heat can be a bonus for germination, and you could maybe get away without a heat mat, it would just he nice if the lights stayed on the lids, preventing the need to touch hot metal.

Seems to be a great set up. Just started using it. 3 light settings for duration on/off. Heat pad setting is easy to use, using 75f now. Grow light has 4 brightness settings. Think this will be a great starter set. I would recommend it.

Es un kit demasiado útil,me ayudo a tener a las plantulas en un ambiente óptimo para su fase, ahorrando espacio en la carpa de cultivo y asegurar la germinación, además por el precio es una increÃble opción, un tapete termico el cual es muy útil para germinar o enraizar esquejes en invierno y un par de luces muy potentes para el tamaño y el costo (yo las uso al máximo de intensidad incluso los primeros dÃas de germinacion el domo ayuda a que no reciban exceso de luz) las plantulas se desarrollan a muy buen ritmo con estas luces, el tapete termico además cuenta con un termostato que se agradece ya que e visto algunos que solo se conectan y estos calientan tanto como los dejes contestado y a cierta temperatura, este ayuda a tener una temperatura justa y no tener que estar al pendiente de excedente con el calor o que las plantas pasen frÃo.Honestamente me sorprendió lo útil que me resulto este kit ya que me ahorra mucho espacio y puedo tener a las plantulas creciendo a buen ritmo, por el precio me parece una increÃble opción en especial por la autonomÃa de sus componentes(las luces incluyen timer y su tapete incluye termostato), el platico no es muy grueso pero tampoco es barato ni delicado, la mia llego un poco doblada de una esquina pero nada estético ni que afecte, es muy útil, de bastante buena calidad, te ayuda a controlar de mejor manera la etala de germinacion, platula o enraizamiento, además barato asà que no creo que te arrepientas de comprarlo .

I think it's needed to put a warning in the description to make it clearer that this is made for the American market and therefore not useable in Europe due to the difference in voltage.
