These are fine if your soil is soft enough. Unfortunately, the place I needed to drive these in was clay and rock. These shattered when I tried driving them into the ground and hit rock. However they accepted the return on the bags of anchors I did not use. If your soil is hard look into metal anchors with washers.

These worked well for staking down my Vodaland EasyPave Grids, except when they'd hit immovable rocks and break or bend. Also the heads kept catching on the top edges of my grids as I tried to pound them down, but I was able to use a flat blade to deflect them over enough as I then used a wood dowel to pound them all the way down. The majority of them worked as they should.

These are not as sturdy as the ones I got directly from the company. Several of them have snapped.

They break really easy when trying to get them into the ground.

Are not strong enough to keep the pads down.

The price should have been reduced for buying nearly 250 of them.We went with a heavy duty 6" staple at .12 Cents apiece, for the remainder of the job, and we would have saved several hundred dollars. We used this product to secure a gravel grid:Standartpark - HEXpave Grid - 1" Depth Permeable Paver System - 27,000 lbs Load Class - DIY Patio, Walkway, Shed Base, Light Vehicle Driveway and Much More!
