I am training my shih tzu to push the red button when he wants to go outside and go potty. He caught on quickly but at this point he just associates with going outside. We are moving to a house with backyard and hoping this will help him with the transition. He's 3 years old and never had a yard. In Our current condo the coyotes are around from dusk to dawn and he can't go out. He uses potty pads at night.

The buttons are large enough and easy enough to use. I bought the small set, just to see if I could train my dog. Even if he doesn't learn, it's a fun project. Well worth the price.

Should come with batteries. Works well however. I just wish the dogs liked to learn them :(

My dog was too old to play with these so I used them with 2 and 4 year old grandkids. So many possibilities! Great fun! You can change the short messages.

I know you get what you pay for, but these are cheap. I haven't had them a full year and one of them's already been thrown out and the others don't really work all that well. And truth be told my dog can't figure it out lol
