Vortice throttle-body spacers are designed to provide additional performance with your factory or Volant's Cool Air Intake system. Manufactured from glass-filled Nylon composite, the Vortice spacers are incredibly strong, yet lightweight and install behind your vehicles throttle body to promote quicker throttle response and in most applications, provide a slight improvement in fuel efficiency.

great product, easy installation, plenty of hp and torque gains, impressive mpg gain as long as i keep my foot out of it, does what it says, took this spacer over the others due to the price tag, i will be buying one for all my vehicles...., if they made them for motorcycles! i would get one of those too!

This spacer was an easy install, it only took 15 minutes on my 2002 gmc sirra 5.3 I did have to trim my fan shroud just a bit but not a big deal, There is a noticeable difference in throttle response, it seems a little more smooth at lower to mid rpms, but I also have a full K&N cold air system, no mufflers or resonators. I also gained about 2 extra miles per gallon. Despite what the ad says this product IS legal for use and sale in California my spacer came with a C.A.R.B. exempt number label. 4 stars because it does whistle just a bit at 1/4 throttle.

Very simple install especially guys running Electronic throttle bodies. Easier fitment running with a Cold air intake, (Even more if you have e-fans). I don’t have a fan shroud but I chopped a bit off the rubber elbow from the CAI to pull it a bit closer to the TB to prevent my fan slappin the intake tube. Running with a ported TB, no noticeable change or decrease in MPG but definitely more torque & pickup on speed! As well as a bit of wanna be turbo whistle noises lol.. all in all great product if you wanna get a bit more tornadoes out that vorteccc

Spacer installed fairly easy. It was a tight fit with my CAI at the fan shroud. I took it for a short ride after insalling and no whistle. Throttle response is good. Hoping for improved gas mileage. Happy so far.

Fistly I had just rebuilt my 5.3 from the ground up, Balanced Crank, rods, pistons etc, Large comp cam , multi angle valve job bored 30 over, trick flow head gear.AFM Delete Kit and BullyDog Platinum GT A trip to the Dyno is yet to come..Now that I know a spacer will work for me, I will buy a better quality 1" Unit and toss this one on my work truck, its only 3/4 and i am not keen on a compodite unit doing this work in a truck im going to drive quite a bit.. Not about to toss my money on the ground.Installed this Volant unit taking care to not the direction it faces. I got the whistle, WD40 told the story, Gasket sucks, Period no ifs and or butts!.Your throttle body has a seriously high quality O-Ring to seal it up, NO WAY Paper gonna get the job done properly. Made a gasket out of a rubber sheet, NO Whistle, Torque gain was evident, If i cared about gas mileage, I would have built it stock. .It works, Done and Donewill add photos and a short Vid later.

Good quality product, despite its plastic!Noticed a bit of difference at lower end, not that it got more power, but engine seems to be more responsive! MPG seem to improve, according to my dash computer went from 11.8average to 13.6average. I had it installed only for 4days, so we'll see what it's going to show in long run!

I installed the Vortice TBS at the same time as I installed the Volant Cold Air Intake on my 2007 Chevy Suburban. Everything installed super easy and very quickly. As soon as I started the engine I could tell it was working. Unfortunately, the reason I could tell was due to the extremely loud whistle coming from my engine. I drove it around the block a few times just hoping it would go away but it was excruciatingly loud. It sounded like the loudest belt/pulley squeal you could ever have. I immediately pulled back into the garage and closed the garage door hoping that no one in the neighborhood new that it was my truck making that God awful noise. I uninstalled the Vortice and kept the cold air induction kit. Also to my dismay, I tried to return the product but this seller just told me to contact Volant about warranty issues. Oh well, I am out a bit of money, hopefully someone will buy it off me on ebay. Moral of the story, stay away from this unless you feel your vehicle needs a bit more power at the expense of an incredibly loud whining noise. If your married or have kids, you probably have all the whining you need.
