I bought this plane last year. I've wanted once since I was a kid and finally got around to buying one. The gyroscopic stabilizer is great. Beginner is pretty fail proof, intermediate allows you to do some tricks and fly tighter turns while still being forgiving. Expert is hard, but I'm also no pro. The ailerons are a huge factor in making this great. A friend bought one without them and it's much less fun.Something to note, I have flyed a lot and gotten pretty good, but I have crashed mine probably 50 times flying in too small of an area in my backyard, a few at full speed. It held up very well and I was surprised how long it lasted before a crack. After many many head on collisions it did eventually crack the foam in the nose, but was easily repaired with some clear gorilla glue. Still flies great after the repair. If your more careful than me and fly in fields I would not be surprised if it never breaks. The prop is pretty durable and pops off if crashed. This is good since the prop won't break. The downside is it can be easy to loose them. I've debated spray painting one high visibility orange to make it easier to find.

This little plane is amazing for the price. 10 years ago this would have been crazy expensive, and this tech wasn't mature enough to be viable....they had tiny RC planes, but they were difficult to fly for your average pilot. The beginner mode and intermediate mode work very well and make flying this little plane a breeze. Any one who knows the basics of flying can fly in beginning mode. I flew it on expert for a little bit, to do some aerobatics, I don't recommend it unless you are VERY experienced. It was really squirrely in expert mode and can get out of hand in hurry, and the wind even a little bit can really mess you up. I have only flown this plane 3 times, once in my front yard, twice in my alley behind my house using the dirt road as a run way. It needs to have a smooth runway or it will nose over. The wheels are very small. I took it off in a track I made with my truck tire and that worked fine, but I wasn't precise enough to land it in the track for both flights back there and it nosed over on the landing from the bumpy road, it landed fine on the black top on the street in front of my house. The good news is NO Damage. I also dropped it from shoulder height while removing the battery, also no damage. The flight times are very long, I didn't notice any decrease in power before I landed and was up each time for several minutes, I didn't time it but it felt like I was flying for a while. Half throttle is more than enough power for normal flying, it still gains altitude even slightly below half throttle. To sum it all up, I highly recommend this plane to any one who knows the basics of flying RC.

Bought this plane because the cheapo RC plane I had wasn't enough plane but I didn't want to go too big. First impression from 2 days flying is that it is awesome. The plane has a lot more power than I expected for something so small, and I end up flying it on maybe 50% power most of the time. On the flip side, it can fly really slow and stay in the air. This makes landings harder as I really have to figure out how much space I need to bring it in, but that's a learning curve thing, not a defect. I crashed it once really hard, cracking a wing and breaking the propeller. Some super glue on the wing and a replacement prop had me ready to fly again the next day with no performance issues that my novice eyes could see.Overall, on just over one battery life worth of flying, I am super pleased with it.

Be patient before flying. Take time to understand the controls and how the plane is trimmed out through the controller. Test gliding is a must before powered flight. 6-axis stabilization system should basically bring the test Glide in on a soft Landing pattern. Do not fly in heavy rain until you're confident and familiar with this planes capability and how to control. If not, chances are you'll lose it or put it up in a tree or on top of the building. This plane is very responsive and flies extremely well. However you do need to be able to control it. Extremely durable. A great buy for a beginner. Just be smart and have plenty of room more than you think

Even though this plane is made of styrofoam, it's pretty durable! My dad bought one of these and on his first flight crashed it into a light post, and it didn't take much damage at all. Later on, he found he was losing control of his plane when he flew it, possibly something wrong with the electronics. But he sent it back and got a replacement at no charge! The different flight modes make this much more fun and easy to fly than it would be otherwise. This plane takes off within just a few feet and climbs great. The expert mode is really fun, although I generally only use it when the plane is at least 100 feet in the air. I often lose control in expert mode since I'm not too experienced, so this plane should have crashed dozens of times if it weren't for the different difficulty modes. I simply switch back to beginner mode and it straightens out of its tailspin or nose dive or whatever, which makes me more comfortable trying out complex aerobatics and risky maneuvers (as long as the plane is high enough). Anyway, this is an absolute joy to fly and has really helped break the monotony of quarantine. My dad and I often fly together. We make sure we pair our planes when they're both on the ground, though. Every once in a while, one controller pairs to both planes, so we always make sure our controllers are paired to the correct planes before taking off. I would recommend this plane to anyone!

Got it caught wat up in a tree first time we used it and can't get it down. seemed to fly OK. Disappointed that I am stuck with a control and can't just buy another airplane that is compatible. Gave it 3 starts (average) only because didn't get to fly it very long.

On my first flight and I have flown these before beginner mode did not work it was doing stunts and out of control too advanced for me and I lost it it just kept going until I went on top of a huge building which I can’t get to now I’ve lost it $180 for nothing wouldn’t want to buy another one very disappointed I thought because it has beginner on it and it says it wouldn’t go Crazy but I did everything
