About this item

  • The Fury HD 5000 AB is an extremely effective, angle-compensated laser rangefinding bino intended for hunters, archers, and shooters looking to take the guess work out of long-range shots with in-display ballistic data and built-in environmental sensors.
  • With the Applied Ballistics Elite solver built in, you can pair with the Fury HD app to create custom profiles compatible with popular Kestrel wind meters and Applied Ballistics Garmin devices for the ultimate in real-time precision.
  • The Fury HD 5000 AB is equipped with an on-board compass, humidity, barometric pressure and temperature sensors. The Fury HD 5000 AB is also equipped with two wind modes: Full Cross Wind Mode and Wind Bearing Capture mode.
  • The primary HCD mode provides key angle compensated range information most shooters require in a quick-to-read display. There is also a BAL (Ballistics) mode and Scan feature, along with adjustments for reading in yards or meters, and display brightness.
  • XR fully multi-coated, HD lenses and dielectric phase-corrected prisms serve up clear and impressive views from dawn til dusk. Nitrogen purged with a rubber armored housing, these binos provide fogproof, waterproof performance in the most extreme weather.
  • Backed by our unlimited, unconditional, lifetime, VIP Warranty. A fully transferable promise to repair or replace your item if it becomes damaged/defective. Does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that doesn't hinder performance.

Carrying your binos and rangefinder in one package is smart. What’s smarter? The next generation Fury HD 5000 AB. This rangefinding binocular takes the guess work out of dialing long-range with in-display data and built-in environmental sensors, which means less time calculating. With the Applied Ballistics Elite solver built right in, you can pair with the Fury HD App to create custom ballistic profiles, and with popular Kestrel and Applied Ballistics Garmin devices for the ultimate in real-time precision.

When you realize that it is a spotting scope, range finder, and ballistic calculator, the price is almost a steal. But where some all-in-one devices make compromises, this device makes none, and is actually better than the sum of it's parts. I look at the target, click ONE BUTTON an dial those numbers into my scope - super easy. I use these at PRS matches and people are always blown away with how good the glass looks. The rangefinder is really accurate and goes AT LEAST as far as advertised, possible much longer in the right conditions. The ballistic computer is basically a Kestrel (same software behind it) and if I second guess it, I am usually wrong. The ONLY thing this device doesn't have is a wind meter, but it will give you standard wind holds. I personally like this better, as wind readings at the shooting position are not super useful anyways. If you don't already have a spotting scope, range finder, and ballistic computer, the GET THESE and don't even think about it. Even if you already have all of those, you may find this device worth it, just to have everything in one package.

Did a little comparison of the Vortex Fury AB VS the Sig Sauer Kilo 3000 BDX. Straight out of the box the the difference was clear. Heck even the unboxing itself was a whole different experience than the Sigs. The clarity of the glass, range acquisition, and overall features of the Vortex made it an easy choice on what was being kept and what would be returned. I went with the Sigs initially because of the price point. The extra money for the Fury was well worth it. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Bought these a little over a year ago when they first came out and they are very nice and well built, as well as they are fairly user friendly to switch modes and things as well as the cost in comparison to other range finding binos of like quality! Would definitely recommend and buy again…

If you want to shrink your groups, get a rangefinder with Applied Ballistics and a Kestrel with the same so they can cross talk. Your groups will consistently shrink until you hit the point where it's only human error screwing you up. Buy once, cry once.

I love Vortex. Great Warranty and glass. I got these this year for my back country hunt and its great. I no longer need to carry a range finder. I have it in my glass. No switching back and forth to range when we spot something.
