Installed it on my AR with a vortex scope. It fit perfect and have not had any issues with it. I have put over 400 rounds through the AR and no issues with the mount or scope.

First of all, the folks over at Focus Camera are great; they send you an e-mail ensuring your satisfaction and care of your package (hehe) unlike most vendors on Amazon. Now, this is the best damned scope mount you could ever hope to find for your tactical carbine or SPR. Mine sits on my S &W M&P 10. The finish on it is superb. Even the quality of the screws it comes with is great. You won't strip em as long as you follow the torque values called out in the simple instructions. It really runs well on an AR platform. The way it offsets you can mount it either way if you want to co-witness an iron behind it or if you have a low power scope and want to put something crazy in front of it. It just looks great, and mine hasn't moved a hair since I installed it, enduring plenty of 7.62 and user abuse. Highly recommended, and I do NOT do that often.

This is a great scope ring that goes with a great scope, Vortex offers some absolute fantastic quality items for a reasonable price, made very well with precise fit, may order an additional one for another application. Will fit perfect with the Vortex Crossfire II Hog Hunter, both items are way beyond average
