The glass front (not glass btw its a thin plastic) came covered in large scratches. The latch is flimsy and the clips holding the glass up break off super easily. This is just not well made plain and simple. Not worth the money.

This is a nice small case for collectors measuring approximately 12.5" x 9". It features a soft foam interior and a clear plastic top.It is perfect for a small insect collection as the interior foam will support push pins and there is a space between the top of the foam and the clear plastic. There is a latch but no method to lock the case. The case is built with a lightweight soft-wood with even and square corners. The case ships with a protective film over the plastic and there were no scratches on the plastic once I removed the film.As the case has a plastic top and it made from lightweight wood, it won't take much abuse and it wouldn't be the best choice for traveling collections. It does have several loops for hanging and would look nice displayed on the wall. It's a nice case for casual collectors to display small collections.

This display case feels very lightweight. It is not very sturdy, but I feel if I just mount my items and hang it on the wall it probably will be just fine.The product images at the time of this review shows rounded and dovetailed corners on this item, but the display case I received has regular 45 degree miter corners. Really not the same workmanship as shown.My clasp also is different than pictured. It's really just a different case then what is displayed in the product images.
