What I like about it.• Construction appears to be really good, at least on the outside. The aluminum body and switches feel like quality.• Perfect formfactor for my 8 inch Banshee.• Bright laser with two power levels, a strobe effect, and the momentary on feature.• Alan screws to windage and elevation are 2mm in size and also click. The “click†should greatly help it keep its zero. Also adds to the quality feel.• The charging method. Magnetically attached cable is more durable than a USB port that might get dirty or damaged.• The price is…. Very affordable.What I don’t like about it.• I don’t like the fact it’s not American made. I really don’t like the fact it’s not made in America. I really wish a company like Surefire or Crimson Trace would have made something like this in a similar form factor. It would cost more, but I would pay it. Plus, you know it would be serviceable too.• The battery doesn’t appear to be user replaceable. I took a look under the hood to see what it was packing (picture attached). A 300mAh lithium battery. It’s not the capacity that worries me. I’m thinking this thing will fail in 3-5 years and I’ll have to replace the whole unit. I’d like to see something made with a replaceable battery.• The charging cable. Again, magnetic attached is the way to go. I don’t like the fact is proprietary and I haven’t seen spare cable for sale.• If you intend to put your rifle in a soft case, there is a chance the buttons could be pressed and laser will turn on. It doesn’t get hot enough do any damage, but it could run the battery down and damage it. With a hard case, you might be able to avoid this problem.Would I recommend it?.... Yes and no. I liked it enough to have taken a chance on another Votatu product. I bought a M6LP-G for another gun. I wrote a review for that one as well.

I love the form factor and design of this sight. Button is in the perfect spot for quick activation with my thumb. The green dot is very bright even in Daylight.* I must note, I use this on a Hatsan Jet 2 .22 cal air rifle and only shoot shorter distances. 35-50 feet.I love the fact that it is rechargeable with a magnetic charging cable. Everything is great except.... trying to sight it in. The first one wouldn't sight left or right. This new one works. But, the up, down, left, right is all over the place. Sometimes you're trying for left, right and it's going to and down. Then trying up and down and it goes left or right. I did manage to get it sighted in dead on. But I hope it never needs to be sighted in again. If they can fix this one and only problem, they can have a 5 star, top notch laser sight on their hands. But because of it being a 2nd try with still similar problems, I have to give it a 3 star almost a 4. I would really at least give it a 3.5 star if I could. Hopefully they read this and fix this problem in the next updated version.

so i don't know what I had in mind when I ordered this. it's awkward mount gives me no way to mount it on anything I have. but it looks like a really nicely built piece. it's just hangs off the right side, blocking the ejection port, or in the way of the magazine on my PCP rifles, and just looks dumb underneath a hand pew. it would be great if someone needs a awkward mounting laser though. for me it's just a piece of useless tech, I'll have to find something thay will work with it now. button is nice, and charging set-up is nice

The original laser I received was defective and had to be replace. I next one I received a box of junk, someone returned misc items and Amazon just put it on the shelf without even opening it to check. The Votatu customer service was excellent. Once I received an actual replacement it worked perfectly. For this cost point I would recommend this product.
