How It Looks Like
Some customers think this hook is too small, while some customers think it's big. So please beware the size of this curtain tieback hook is about 6 inch Length the long side and about 3.2 inch the short side. The depth for holding the curtain is approx. 3.2 inches. It will not cover/hold the whole curtain for thick curtains. (Check review pictures could see how it looks like after install). The Extends is about 2.6 inch from wall. Please make sure there is enough space for the hook's longer side to wall. You can see the listing picture (pic. 2) for size details. Thank you.

These hold back my lightweight curtains well and solidly installed in my plaster walls. Very easy install. I used the included anchors and screws. These may not work for heavyweight curtains. Well constructed.

These are strong and unobtrusive which is what I needed for a set of white lace curtains that are fine for filtering light in the summer but block off too much of it in the winter. I just quickly pull the curtains back when I need that extra light and just as easily release them later in the day. These hold backs are an inexpensive way to control the light and are easily hidden behind the curtain.

These are exactly what I wanted for single panel velvet curtains. They blend in an hold the curtains back nicely. My top tip is to put them on an angle to help get a more draped look instead of just holding them back straight.
