We needed to run LED light strips down both sides of the aisle in the local community theatre, and do it inexpensively. Since the light strips would be on the floor, at the aisle sides where patrons' shoes would step on them and knock them around, it was essential that we use a tough metal channel to run the strips in that could be securely affixed to the floor. These worked perfectly! Though they come with small metal clips that could be screwed to the floor, it seemed to us that drilling holes through the U channel and screwing each one directly to the floor would make for a more secure installation, and it did. We ordered the version with the smoked clear covers and that was great, too, since it makes for a very subtle installation. Most people don't know there is floor lighting there until it's turned on, after which they are delighted to see the RGB lighting and can enjoy the various lighting effects. We love these channels and covers. Well worth the money and a great choice for a subtle, professional looking installation.

I had installed LED strip lights in the back of my Jeep Wrangler when I built a wooden storage enclosure for the back. I had glued the strip, but they came down after a few years of heat. I was able to use the provided screws to secure the channel and attach the lights inside. It looks much better and more professional.

The cover was gray. So I exchanged it & the same exact style came back to me. So I took a chance & installed it anyway around my bathroom moldings. The gray cover allows light through & lucky for me it looks great.

Used these aluminum channels to house LED's in (3) bathroom niches. Worked fine for us. White opaque plastic lens does not fully disguise the LED's "dotted" appearance (and I do not know any that do), so we recessed the aluminum channels. Cut channels to size on a table saw with a metal blade. Had to wrap the aluminum channels with duct tape to hold the thin, flexible aluminum channels stable while cutting slowly. All the parts needed were included and arrived quickly in good condition.

This is specific to the Black model. While the channel itself is as expected, the "black" cover is too translucent and reduces light output significantly when compared with the other silicone option.I wanted a smoked option that was more like a transparent plastic. Darkening the LED strip without impact to brightness.I would greatly appreciate if VST would produce a cover that doesn't include the channel which fulfilled this goal.Overall I am reluctantly going to use these due to time pressure, but if you are looking for more of what I described above, these may not be for you.

Installed undercounter lighting and most of it was hidden by existing molding. I used these channels to contain the led strips in areas where they are exposed. Looks very professional. Comes with lenses and end caps.
