This is by far my daughters favorite toy that she got for Christmas! It's so fun and interactive. There are games to play, songs to listen to, ways to help children talk through feelings. The motions of the lamp are so cool too. I've never seen a toy like this before. It's uniqueness makes it so special to my kid. I would definitely recommend this for a gift!

This has got to be one of my top favorites from Vtech!!! Would definitely BUY again!! Sunny is such a cool toy. Great stories & keeps the little ones engaged.

My daughter is much older than basic suggested age... she has a severe form of autism and an obsession with pixars luxo Lamp, numbers and letters. When I saw this lamp which resembles luxo jr... moves and speaks with a built in alarm I had to get it. My almost 8 yr old is nonverbal and has issues with people talking around her often yet she has not stopped keeping her lamp talking nonstop since I gave it to her as her reward for staying in bed at night. I'm dumbfounded I knew she would like it but she won't leave the house without it. I'm afraid I will need to get a back up God forbid anything happen to it.I have all great things to say the only con is the battery usage I'm having to put 6 new batteries in every other day and mine didn't have a plug with it so this I may need to find a plug for when she's not running around with it.P.s. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to find a backpack big enough for to take her lamp to school to save on any meltdowns. Ooh the life of moms. Have children they said.. it's so fun. Lol***Months later....Update... bought another one after the lamp said it was bathtime I ran when I heard water to see she was simply going to give lampy a bath. Ok so I suppose it was another learning opportunity. To be completely homest though some may not agree with my resolution however she doesn't understand and the death of her lamp was not one I wanted her to go through. So I told her lampy was going to santa where her family is where they may be able to help. She packed a small bag and dad took lamp to the plane( One of lamps stories is about her family)Lamp was bought arrived I quick hid packaging, put the backpack on her and set her out the door. Rang the bell remote and my daughter was over the moon that lampys family fixed her and had a note in her pack asking my daughter to take good care of her.... oh yes the things we do.

My 3 year old and 18 month old both adore Sunny. It is very cute and engaging, with a lot of different stories/songs/etc across the different disks. My kids found the disks a little hard to replace initially but are getting the hang of it. I don’t really like how it pauses frequently between the stories and songs to ask the listener to push a button to continue. For example, I’ll play the song disk with Sunny perched on the kitchen counter while my kids eat lunch (to keep their hands off of it), but then I’m constantly going to restart or continue the songs. I think it’ll be a better fit for my two as they get older and can be a bit more independent with operating it and also when they can follow along and engage in the stories and activities a bit more. Overall, recommend it, but maybe for a slightly older child unless you are prepared to manage and operate it.

This was a random gift for my daughter for Christmas. I did not expect to love it so much.Unfortunately the first one we received didn't work. But we exchanged it really quickly and had it in time for Christmas and the second one works perfect.I assume this was going to be like a daytime toy that she would just play with. What it has ended up being is a little night night buddy. My daughter is for she can use it on her own. She puts a little discs in she has it read her bedtime stories or tell her jokes and then she puts the bedtime disc in and has it sing her lullabies while she goes to sleep.It's amazing. It's given her this awesome autonomy around her bedtime. She's always so happy when it's time to go see Sunny! I would suggest definitely getting the power cord and plugging it in. Initially we went through batteries in less than 2 days and she wasn't playing with it enough for that to be like a fair thing. So definitely order a power cord. I got one here off Amazon for I don't know I think it was maybe $8.I definitely recommend and my four-year-old does too!

My grandson absolutely loves sunny. Her facial expressions and her movements keep him rivoted. I just wish they sold additional discs.

This toy is so cool and interactive. It has alot of amazing and interesting stories and activities for kids to do. My 3 and 4 year olds loved the face on the screen and how much it moved and interacted with them.

Bought this for my two year-old granddaughter and her six-year-old sister seems to like it more. Exactly as it appears on the box a great learning tool.

Her voice is so cute, her facial expressions are great for learning. The songs, noises and stories she tells aren’t annoying, like so many other toys can be. Wonderful Christmas present.
