I’m like most of ya’ll, my water started to not tastes as good as when I got it at my in laws house. So looked to find the filter in store and I saw $60. I was flabbergasted, so like any level minded individual I checked amazon and found these. And the install took literally 30 seconds max. Have run around 20 gallons of water since getting it and it tastes so much better. Definitely take the chance.

I bought these based on the product description which read, "Compatible with . . ." and my model of Whirlpool refrigerator freezer (WRS571CIHZ04). It fits and works great, but the "Replace Filter" warning on the unit's screen doesn't go out. I tried the various button combinations available via the web for resetting the light, but none worked on my model.

Used as a replacement in in KitchenAid 23M72CDDTR6.Updated Review (Jan 9, 2025):My GF showed me how to manually reset the filter on the fridge, filter seems to be working well, my original negative review was user error on my part.Original Review:Fits (auto insert and ejection w/ the door works) but doesn't reset "filter replacement" or work well (water stream from fridge is weird w/ this filter in, spurts and runs inconsistently).Fridge is still indicating that it needs a replacement (really the only reason I'm replacing the filter is to stop it from beeping at me when I get water).Lots of water comes out when I eject the filter.

When I saw that I could have 3 filters for almost half the price of the one name brand filter, I thought why not. I put the first filter in and it worked great...for about 2 months then all of a sudden I heard a loud sound and the water quit coming out of dispenser. Initially I thought there was something wrong with the fridge or the valve, but then I thought, Hmmm, the only thing thats different is the filter. Let me take that filter out and put another one in. The second filter only lasted a couple weeks. I am now on my third filter of the 3 and have ordered the original name brand filter so that when this one quits working, I can have a good filter again that will last at least a full year.
