HOW TO REPLACE THE FILTER:
1) Open your refrigerator
2) Turn filter cover to the left and detach from refrigerator wall
3) Open air filter compartment and remove the used filter from the cover
4) Replace new filter with the side facing outward
5) Reattach filter cover back to your refrigerator by turning right

I write the date on these filters and change them out every time I swap out my water filter, super easy to just snap in. They’re well built and I’ve had nothing but good things to say about mine.They fit perfect in Whirlpool model # WRS588FIHZ04.I have definitely noticed my fridge smelling more crisp and clean after keeping them changed frequently.

Filters arrived fast. Packaged well with no damage. Fits my model Kitchen Aid Refrigerator. Compared to OEM model I cannot see any differences in construction, size or filter material. T they do have carbon, same as OEM. No smell, individually wrapped inside the box. Slips in easilly, 10 second replacement. A great deal compared to OEM prices.

Although these are recommended for my Whirlpool refrigerator model and the filter media appears to be decent quality, it fits very, very loose (as mentioned in a previous review). When I tried to gently expand the clips to create a better fit, the clip cracked off. I'm not sure how well the filter will do it's intended job when it is laying in there loose.
