The difference of replacement parts is only reflected in the installation, If you find that the connection port does not match, please cut off the connection line and connect it to the device with a nut.

Great replacement piece for Whirlpool Amana Oven. The oven itself is terribly designed and getting in to actually replace the piece requires taking the whole back side off, but the piece itself was a nice drop-in replacement and shipped fast.

Fire wouldn't turn on in stove. Didn't heat up. Installed this. Boom did the trick. Fix problem. Stove fire ignites and heats up.

Fairly easy to install using a YouTube video to remove the door. Two small 8mm bolts are hard to start as the bottom metal had to be bent down to get a small socket on them. The connector was not the same but they supplied two heat resistant wire nuts so I just has to cut off both plugs strip the wires and wire nut them together. I saved a$100 service call and cheaper than the whirlpool part at twice the cost.

The plug wasn't correct for the part number that the listing said it was compatible with. I cut the plug off and spliced on the plug from the old igniter. Fortunately, the new igniter came with two ceramic wire nuts. If you're handy, this is no big deal. Just be sure to pre-twist the wires for a secure splice. So far, so good.

Arrived broken and not as pictured. Part did not have the plastic connector and the internal rod broke with little manipulation. Spring for the more expensive version, of you can, and save yourself a headache.

I have a Whirlpool Gold double oven, and in the upper oven there is a top broiler. The old ignitor would get red hot, but not for long enough to get the gas to release and ignite, replaced it with this unit and now I have no more problem. This also included ceramic wire nuts so that I could splice the old connector if needed...
