I bought four of these, as most people tend to do, and they were easy to install and worked great in my project. It was so much easier than wandering the aisles of the home improvement warehouse to find what I needed, although a bit more expensive.

Exactly as expected. I needed two more of these to finish a project, and I did not want to go to a giant home improvement store for two little pieces of hardware, so I was thrilled to find them on Amazon and even more thrilled that they arrived so quickly. One was a bit crooked, but that did not impact my use of it.

This Waddell Straight Top Plate was exactly what we needed to replace a leg on our sofa where the original leg fastener fell into the inner workings of the furniture. The 5/16" - 18 thread nut in the center of this 2 ¼" square plate was perfect for the 4" replacement leg we used to replace the old one. It comes complete with 4 screws and is sturdy enough for our application. This is a straight top alignment and Waddell also makes an angle top for furniture that needs the legs set at an angle, . I will look for a Waddell product the next time I need to replace a furniture leg.

This product is great, sturdy and fit perfectly with the legs I ordered for the two sofas I have. Instead of replacing $1K sofas, I spent about $50.00 and they both look great and modern.

I bought these at the same time I bought new legs for one of our couches that were damaged when the painters pushes and not lifted the couch so they could paint behind it. I bought these in case the threats in the couch base were also damaged. They were not so I did not have to use them. I am planning to use these in a future project.

these were the cheap option... with my tall skinny 7" sofa legs, these plates started to bend over time and become wobbly. i replaced the bendy ones once before then over time the same thing happened. i took these off and threw them away to replace them with a stronger "industrial strength" leg plate. the difference is night and day. however, i think these would be fine for a shorter wider leg that wouldnt experience as much force

Unfortunately the only supplier, took many weeks to arrive and when used found to be quite flimsy.
