I was weary at first about how short the bristles were, but during shedding season, a stiff tail brush gets hair out easily, unlike other brushes I’ve had before. My sensitive-skinned horse loves it!

I realized when I purchased this product that it was a soft bristle horse brush. I bought it for my dog, a 150lb Mastiff. This soft brush works fine just not was I was looking for. It does nothing to her coat, doesn't remove hair. It does remove dust and dirt from her time in the yard and it does fit well in my hand.

This brush is long but has an easy grip especially for small hands. I have used it a few times and bristles seem stiff enough to do the job.
