Worked great on the exhaust. I installed new components and this sealed everything up just like new.

THIS IS THE KEY TO A GOOD SECURE COMPRESSED FIT FOR YOUR NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM BY WALKER, THE BLUE SEAL IS NOT ENOUGH BY ITSELF ! ALSO DON'T FORGET TO GET 2 NEW SETS OF NUTS AND BOLTS FOR THE CONNECTION !

The part shown is incorrect. However, the part shipped, #31576 a ring gasket from Walker works better than the flange gasket on my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0L. Note that replacement catalytic converter comes with a ring gasket for the engine side and a flange gasket on the exhaust pipe side. Due to the improper fit of the flanges on the exhaust side...the ring gasket fit better and did not leak. The ring gasket is consistent with the original supplied gasket for both ends.

Nothing fancy, just a metal flange gasket, and necessary to complete a muffler installation, but was able to get an OEM quality product at less than half the cost. Can't go wrong with that.

I was replacing both drivers and passengers bank 1 & 2 cats because the “rings” that everyone sells just don’t seal well and get a little leaking. I also replaced the upstream and down stream Denso O2 sensors. Wanted the thicker Walker gaskets as shown in the pics illustrated here in this listing for 31576. As you can see from my pics, I got the “ring” type that sits in the groove on each end of the cats inside the hole in their flange. I have already been there, done that with these ring “gaskets”. For my 08 Pathfinder they do not seal well and leak on both L/R primary cats. So, I ordered these Wagner gaskets as they appeared in the illustration. Thick, and wider past the inner ring. These always give a complete tight seal. Plain DECEITFUL ADVERTISING!!! It was delivered in 2 days here to Hawaii, I was elated as I could replace the gaskets with these in the pic and be able to drive my Path without it sounding like a damn Harley. Please don’t think you are purchasing what is in the pictures in this listing, you will be getting those “useless”Leaking rings. They should not be calling those rings “gaskets”. As they are not!!! What happened to honesty—Wagner? As we say in Hawaiian, Auwe (shameful).
