Purchased these to put in a range bag for shooting outings. These sit on the ear more than around the ear, if that makes sense. They work well, and are a good value. They are comfortable and provide adequate hearing protection. Compact design when folded.

I have a daughter with autism. She is very sensitive to loud noises. We always keep a pair of noise blocking hear muff on hand for use when sounds become too much for her. Her last pair was made by 3M and she loved them, but the model does not seem to be made anymore. I decided to buy this pair as a replacement.My daughter really likes these. They are a bit tight, but she does not mind. So, clearly they are not too tight for her. She is about 5' 3" with an average size head. So, if you are on the smaller side for an adult these should work well. They would work great for most kids, too.The quality seems to be nice, and you cannot beat it for the price. They fold up well so I can put them in my purse when we go out.

EDIT: THESE ARE GREAT!!! My boyfriend and I have gone to an open field shooting range and tried these on. Mind you, the place was packed and all kinds of firearms were going off (pistols, rifles, revolver - the revolver was literally next to me and if you know about that then you know those make a HUGE noise but I didn't even flinch). I don't know what other people are talking about that they're not "strong enough" for protection because these work amazingly well.At first, the packaging for these earmuffs upset me. You can visually see all the dings and dangs that the product suffered due to the flimsy packaging by the rips in the plastic. When I opened them, the headband part smelled a bit like permanent marker and it was hard to open up so I'll have to extend them over something. However, when I put these on I went WOW these really block out a good amount of noise. The NRR is 22 decibels. They are truly low profile and not bulky at all. I haven't taken them to the shooting range yet but I plan on using earplugs along with these earmuffs. Overall for the price you pay I do think they're a good pair of earmuffs.

I use them for drumming. They are definitely as effective as most mufflers. They are about 40-50% smaller than others. They are a little tighter than others, but not a deal breaker. The adjustability is good but they are so spring loaded they fight you a little putting them on. Good deal if you want slimmer mufflers.

+ affordable+ reduces loud noises- headband feels cheap and disposable- foam inside cans touches inner portion of ears- wears on your ears, instead of over your ears- can cups keep self folding into storage positionI also have a pair of Walker's game Razor Passive (GWP-RSMPAS) and Howard Leight R-01526 Impact Sports. I purchased these Walker's Game Ear Low Profile Folding when I don't want to go to the range with the Howard Leights but I want to leave my Walker Razors for interior house duty. For outside use, they will be uncomfortable in less than 20 minutes since the cups sits ON My Ears instead of over them.If you want to wear eye pro with these, you better make sure your range time is short or your loud activity is just around the house. If you are wearing these for work with hours on end, I am pretty certain you will start hating life around the 60 minute mark.

I bought these to use with a tacctical helmet with an ARC rail adapter, but had to break the headphone connectors to get them apart. Ignoring that issue specific to me, they block a lot of sound and were confotable. And cheap

I've ordered two pairs of these for myself - one for home and one for work. They're great for blocking noises made by noisy co-workers/housemates so I can concentrate! Some people commented they were tight, but I find them very comfortable - much moreso than other headphones I've tried. I also ordered a pair for my Dad to wear when he mows, and he loves them.
