This product arrived unassembled, but don’t let that deter you—it’s incredibly easy to put together! It looks exactly like the pictures and is impressively well-made with a smooth, sturdy finish. Nothing in the description says that it is laminate over particle board (it is), but then again, nothing says it's real wood. As one reviewer stated, the slots are so angled that you can't see your labeled tabs on the files. I will just memorize where mine are. All screw holes lined up, easy to assemble. You will need a small tip phillips head screwdriver to screw the little side hooks in and the wall holders on the back if you're going to hang it. Otherwise, they've included a small wrench for the other screws. Step #1 is says to note the four screw holes on the piece you're going to screw the sides onto. Make sure you know to FLIP that piece and put the holes on the backside. Yes, I should have read through the instructions COMPLETELY before beginning and I would have seen that those holes go on the back for the wall hangers. Thus, I am left staring at the four little pre-drilled holes on the front side of mine (because I'm not unscrewing everything at this point. Heavy, will stay in place with no problema on my desktop.

Good product, easy assembly. It's a bit lightweight, but as long as you are careful with the shelves, should be fine.

It's very study. Mine is on the wall but it can also sit on desk. The sections are deep to hold papers. It has to be put together but it wasn't hard.
