I installed a Geberit wall-hung toilet 4 years ago and loved it. Then the flush plate buttons started to fail - the metal springs are held in place by heat-molded plastic buttons, and somehow (maybe by pushing on the side of the push plate instead of the center) I had over-stressed the plastic and the spring came loose. The result is a stuck flush actuator and lots of wasted water.This unit is a perfect replacement for the original push plate - just remove the old and snap in the new. Build quality appears identical to the OEM part. It comes with the mounting plate, which I did not need - but if you are installing new you will want it.Not much more to say about this - except that since it is identical to the OEM part is is just as susceptible to damage by careless use as the original. This heat-molded plastic "rivet" to retain the springs design is not the best. I would have preferred a design put together with screws. There isn't one available from anyone, though - so this is the best we're going to do.
