This is a replacement. My original one, purchased at a hat store, was left on a train in Germany. I was happy to find a replacement on Amazon. The original was 6 years old and still look great. It can be adjusted to your size thus providing a great fit.

I Bought the Wallaroo Palm Beach Fedora for a 3 week trip to New Zealand because it was packable and UPF+50 UV. Sunlight in New Zealand is a bit more intense as the country lies under the hole in Earth's Ozone Layer. The hat gave me me great protection while looking stylish. The fedora has a dip in the brim, giving it a hipster look. The hat took a lot of punishment and folding but kept its stiffness and shape. Great traveling hat but you can look good just wearing it anytime.

As promised, this hat not only looks good and seems durable, but also kept the sun off me. I have a larger head (often can’t fit into standard women’s hats), but I measured and bought the M/L and it fits comfortably. I did have to hold it on while on the boat, but that’s a small price to pay not to have my head feel squeezed all day.

The first impression was its malleability. It folds with ease, retains it shape and it lightweight. The sizing is great, too. Simply adjust the elastic band inside the rim to your size. It is also UV protected. I am happy with my purchase.

This hat works well and is appropriate for beach and recreation. I bought the Large/X-Large based on the guide and it’s too big. There is an adjustable band that works well so it does stay on. It is a hot hat that could use ventilation. Overall it’s a fine hat. For everyday and work I prefer a smaller Panama Jack fedora straw hat that I also purchased, but this is better for recreational use.
