If you change your mind about the appliqué fabric you are using, simply peel off Steam-A-Seam and stick it to new fabric. Since you haven't fused Steam-A-Seam to your applique material, you can remove it from your fabric scraps and use both the excess fabric and Steam-A-Seam for other projects. There is no waste. Steam-A-Seam 2 Double Stick has the pressure sensitive on both sides which allows for a temporary hold to both the appliqué material and the background material. You can hold your project vertically and the appliqué pieces stay in place and are still repositionable until fused with an iron. Before fusing, tack your project to a wall or try on a garment to check appliqué placement. You're able to reposition pieces while you're wearing them. Once fused the bond is the same as the original Steam-A-Seam. You get TWO packs of 5 sheets

The product is excellent, however Amazon often folds the package in half (Or it folds during shipment ) which is damaging As it needs to Stay as flat. In addition, it is sensitive to heat so when they leave it on a porch or travels in a hot truck, the integrity of the product could be at risk

LOVE It. It is such a great product for applique. You don't use steam on it until the final placement of the piece. Then it will be in place. Make sure you have a silicon mat, so the glue won't get on your iron.

Be sure to read the instructions on this and to carefully remove the paper. Both sides are sticky and if the sticky side gets on your hands and then the iron handle it is very hard to remove. If the iron touches the backing directly it will wreck the iron. But the product performs well as directed.

I had never worked with this double sided interfacing before, but once I got the hang of it (be sure that you cut out your shapes in the reverse position), it was great.

Without this, doing appliqué on plush would be miles more difficult, this is a fantastic product. Works well on minky.
