I LOVE this coat for my little man! He is a Mini Pin/Chihuahua mix so a little tall and long. I got him the XL and it fits really well. We have had a COLD winter (we're from FL originally) and this has kept him warm and cozy. I like it so much, I'm buying a second as I am not comfortable laundering the coat in both the washer & dryer and I want to rotate while one is drying.My ONLY caveat is to be careful when zipping up; the fabric can get caught in the zipper and it then gets stuck. I simply tuck that fabric under while zipping and that has remedied the issue.Probably my favorite feature is the built in harness. This is especially useful for dogs that like to pull/back out of their harness - this will prevent that!I highly recommend this coat; it’s functional and my little Duncan looks very fashionable 😊

My dog is 7 lbs with a 14" girth. The coat fits well with adjustment of the straps. It is really warm with a thick fleece lining. It is easy to put on and is well made. The only negative is that it is a little short but I often find that with clothes for her. She was willing to walk about 3 blocks today when it was 35 degrees and usually she is asking to be picked up as soon as she is finished with her business but today she was happy for a longer time.

I will first say we had to return this, not for any reason other than I have weird doggies.I wanted to at least write about the quality and nice features.My dogs will only wear jackets that have the velcro strip at the neck and stomach are, and their legs can't be covered or put in holes. I sure did try to get them to like these, but I had to go back to the cape-style jacket.This one has a really nice buckle, and large enough ring to use for the leash. I love that you can adjust the tightness of the harness somewhat, so a skinnier dog is better fitted.I really wanted to keep these, my two just could not adjust to the style. But it is a quality jacket.

Originally purchased the wrong size. It was too long. Re-ordered in large and it’s perfect. My Frenchie is very hard to size. She has a 15 inch neck, 22 inch chest and 15 inch back. Most dog coats with the larger neck and chest sizes are too long, but this one is perfect. The stretchy material on the underside is great for her larger chest and smaller midsection. Easy to get on and off. Wish it had the carry handles on the top, but the harness allows me to hold her in place when attaching a leash. Good quality factor and definitely good for cold weather and wind.

Final Update - Aimydog contacted me based on my review. If though the product was beyond the warranty period when I first tried to use it, based on the problem with the zipper, they immediately shipped out a replacement vest. It was received quickly and works perfectly. They have very good customer service and sent email through Amazon to follow-up and ensure I was satisfied. I WOULD recommend this product. It fits the dog well and she seems comfortable wearing it.Update - We have a defective zipper. Worn for the first time today. Zipper jammed and I can't get my puppy out of it. She is very upset and now won't let me remove it without growling and nipping. Ugh.Nicely made and fits well. Dog is 6.2 lbs and between sizes for XS and S so we went with S. It is a bit loose but she is only 4 moths old so it should be perfect by the time cold weather sets in.Easy to put on and zip. Nice built-in harness.

My dog is medium size, 22 pounds, yet he’s taking an extra large!Coat is a lovely length, I love the lining I love the walk-in style. I love the harness, but the zipper does not stay closed. I bring it all the way up to the top I fold it back under and eight times out of 10. It starts to open as we’re walking. More than likely I will not order from this manufacture again.

Honestly this was a nice surprise quality wise. But like others mentioned - It runs SMALL! Be sure to measure your dog & follow the sizing chart. My 14 lb Shih Tzu who normally takes a medium in harnesses took a XL in this jacket!! I almost didn't order it because I was sure there was no way a XL could be correct.. And it's a great fit, not loose at all. Best part about this is it's a full harness built into the jacket not partial sewn onto the jacket which can be torn off with tugging. I feel he's very secure as well as warm!

Seemed like good quality at first. After about a week the stitching for the harness came apart. I have a 12 year old 15 pound chihuahua… she isn’t pulling at all when we walk her so this shouldn’t be happening.I started the return and just got the replacement, so I checked the stitching and sure enough it came right apart. I’ll be sending this back and looking for a different option.

Had to get a larger size as dog is long in body and for comfort. Easy to put on and dogs were lovely and toastie. They did not mind me putting it on, unlike there original coats.

My miniature schnauzer loves this coat,keeps him warm and is easy to put on.I like the fact that it comes with a built in harness so theres no need for a harness as well.Well made,recommended.
