I need to revise my earlier review. I’ve been using these now for some months. Product works beautifully and is holding up very well. My earlier concerns regarding durability and light construction were missed placed. Need to bump the review to five stars.The good news is that the vacuum stopper provides a good seal. Bad news is I’m not sure how long these will last. The metal hood that goes outside the wine bottle appears to be made of a very light weight, flexible plastic. Unsure how long it will hold up when used to remove the stopper to pour. So far, so good.

One of my stoppers did not work. The piece that is supposed to expand does not expand enough to form a seal. The stopper comes right off. The other one works.I tried to email NEWKITCHEN with this information but the emails were returned as undeliverable.UPDATE: I received a response from NEWKITCHEN and they immediately sent me a new package of stoppers. Both of them worked well. Very pleased.

I've tried every type of wine stopper on the market and nothing worked. This is the answer and works perfectly and well as takes up much less space than decorative stoppers or others for sale.

This product is absolute garbage! It does not work at all. It does not fit properly on any wine bottles so there is no suction, it just sits on top as a useless product. It would fall off if it’s not vertical so it’s certainly not leak proof by any means. Wish I tried it before the return policy expired or I would definitely had returned it for a full refund. Please do not waste your money on this useless product which serves no purpose.
