I've done a ton of winch installation on everything from a car hauler to heavy duty truck to ATVs and the simplicity of not having to wire additional solenoids and relays, especially in an ATV, make these Warn units such an awesome winch! Since the solenoids and relays are in the winch itself, you only need to run power and ground to the main power source, run the remote switch and remote socket. That's it, and on my Can Am outlander 700, it fits on the built in mount with no other brackets needed. I pull a lot of stuff and will never need 4500 lbs of force, it's always better to have too much in a winch than not enough!

Easy to wire and install. Great rocker switch I like the ability to see how much I'm pulling with the led light indicator.

Bought it for an X3. Ordered factory bumper. Because this is the narrow drum winch, the holes did not line up and had to return it. You can’t get any better quality though. Too bad it didn’t work.

Installation was easy enough. It functions great, and is strong enough to pull my RZR900s. I plan to do a future review for long term usage but as of now I am completely happy with the product. Warn lives and dies by its reliability and the AXON is easy to install however after some extra use the winch seized up. Then it would only work in one direction, and then it just stopped working all together. I disassembled the winch and water dumped out of the unit. So much for being water proof.

Install was easy enough but 2nd time I used it the synthetic rope broke where it loops through the drum with the wedge. Not the dependability I was hoping for. Didn’t even have anything hooked up when it broke was free spooling out to hook up and it came all the way out.

installed on my 2017 rzr easy hooked to my power block NO didnt work but i called WARN great customer service he said this winch draws 400+ amps hook directly to battery I did and works great looks great hopefully never have to use it but i am READY

Very good quality of everything.Cabling is really heavy duty, all switches and everything in this box are just great. Just know that warn=quality.Just be warned, if you plan to install in UTV, the cabling is too short.I had to make my own battery cables and I had to cut and extend the switch wiring to reach my dashI guess they could have provided extensions to the switch wiring harness and they could have used a more common 4-pin connector.
