It does as it should.Pros:- works as intended. Used the hdmi on my GPU and DP on my monitor and it delivers the correct resolution and fps- length is perfect for my use but obviously buy according to your needs- extremely flexible so it is easy to use, but it is also a durable braided cable so I didn’t need to worry about damaging itCons:- I don’t really like the color but it was the cheapest cable I could buy so I can’t really complainOverall it works as it should and should last you for awhile. I’ve had mine for a few months and have no issues yet.

When I replaced my power supply, I didn't realize it had a display port rather than an HDMI to plug into, This cable did the trick, plugging the DP connection to the power supply and the HDMI into my monitor. Worked immediately and have had zero problems with it after a couple of months of service. Great cable!

I ordered this to add a 3 monitor to my editing computer. It worked flawlessly! A few days after I got it connected, I received an email from the company with some troubleshooting tips and tricks. I can only assume that some people are having trouble.My cord is connected to the display port on my video card (output) to a 1080p HP monitor HDMI port (input) and it works great!From what I gather, if you are trying to go from HDMI output to display port input, it won't work.I'm very happy with mine.Here is some information the seller sent me.Warming Notes:1. It is a UNI-DIRECTIONAL cable, only works to convert from DisplayPort source to HDMI display. One way transmission.2. Please note that this product is NOT compatible with Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 4/5, and all the PCs that do not have Displayport.3. If you are using docking station/hub, please check whether it supports DP++. *Docking stations/hubs that do not support DP++ will not be compatible with our product.4.For some monitors/TVs that do not automatically detect and switch input source, please adjust manually to select the correct input source.5. This is the first time I've had to use a display port on a laptop so was a bit unsure what to buy. I had thought of getting an adapter but not keen using an adapter, so decided on this cable. This is one way only, Display to HDMI, not HDMI to Display. This is stated in the description. The cable itself is excellent quality, durable its a good length too. Sound and video are both excellent. Fully compatible with my HP laptop, easy to connect just plug and go! It functions perfectly and for the cost I think its excellent value. I like the lack of catches on the Display end, you cant forget to release the catches!
