I decided to add my old Surface Pro 6 as a 2nd workstation & for RDP from my primary (Surface Pro 9) but the 29in ultra wide I bought for the Pro 6 wouldn't render correctly, it did a visual stretch. I tried different mini display port to HDMI cables, connected them to both the Surface dock and directly to the video port to no avail. Hence, did a search, discovered a lot of users had the same issue and the fix was to purchase a mini display port adapter. I didn't think it would work but I plugged in the Warrky adapter and, TADA, it worked right off the bat. The adapter can be plugged into both the mini display port and the dock.

Good value for the money. It will take an older MacBook like mine (2013) and allow you to display your screen in great quality and resolution onto your hdtv screen. I use my MacBook for music streaming using Spotify, playing emulated games, browsing the web and for photos and videos. This makes my entertainment system much more usable for many additional things as compared to just my Xbox connected. Design is sleek and I haven’t had any connection issues. Audio does transport through this as well. I have an optical cable going from my tv to my DTS surround receiver and get great audio when switched to my laptop using this.

Purchased in February 2023. Suddenly stopped working. Tested cables and port to confirm it was the adapter. Affected my work since I rely heavily on dual monitors to work efficiently. Searching for a replacement.UPDATE: Customer Support reached out and kindly provided a replacement. I’m grateful for the response. Going to give this one a try. Thank you Warrky!UPDATE 2: The replacement is working great! So far so good.

And this is well made! Experienced difficulties in getting a signal to my new Samsung tv from an older MacBook - there would be a signal loss every few seconds.. traced it to low quality hdmi cable and connectors..replaced them and now… no issues.

After our MacBook Air monitor stopped working we needed a solution to connect to an hdmi display. This adapter connected in minutes and we are back in play. Probably saved me $600 for a new display panel. Buy this you won’t be disappointed.

This product has quite competitive price and great quality. It connects tightly. I have used it for a while for my desktop computer to connect with a portable monitor, it has been working great!

J'ai récupéré un vieux MacBook air de 2013 que je veux utiliser en vacances pour visionner des vidéos.Dès la première connexion ça a fonctionné, sans aucun paramétrage.Le cordon est de bonne facture et chaque embout dispose de protections.Bien sûr la résolution de l'écran sera celle du Mac (donc seulement Full HD dans mon cas) mais pour du Full HD voir du 4K, je suis sûr que ça fonctionnera.Achat utile.
