I have a great pyrenees, so a very large dog. She's always confused small rugs for puppy pads so I wasn't really concerned about confusing her about peeing on rugs. That could be a concern for someone else though.The size is amazing - before I would put down 2 XXL puppy pads next to each other because they just didn't feel big enough and she'd occasionally spill off the side. These are PERFECT, she has never missed.Non Slip - With the disposable puppy pads, my cats and dog would end up shifting or balling them up on the floor when walking by, laying on them, running into them. These stay in place a million times better.Leak proof - these do not leak, and are much better than the disposables were in that department, even with how much my very large dog pees at a time. The outer edges can leak if you pick it up without folding it. But the instructions tell you that, and when you're rinsing it I think it's good that it has somewhere for the water to run out of.Washable - These do wash well. I have dried them before on low heat, but they air dry so fast I normally don't bother and just throw them over my shower railing for a bit.- I first rinse these out briefly by just holding them up in the shower and running the water against them for a moment before putting them in the wash- FOLD them in half, with the absorbent side facing OUT when you put them in the washer. If you put them in such a way where they can get folded in the wash with the backing facing out, they won't get clean because the backing doesn't leak, so they never get rinsed properly. The first time I washed them I made this mistake and they clearly still smelled of pee. I also use a bit of oxyclean powder in the wash for the odor and they come out smelling quite nice.The one downside probably is, as others have mentioned, it is not very visibly obvious when theyve been peed on. I usually have to check and see if one was used. That's fine with me though as the pros all far outweigh that minor inconvenience.My trash can not smelling like puppy pads is amazing. And visibly these are a HUGE upgrade, I am SOOO relieved to not have the eyesore and constant adjustment of disposable pads on my floor.

For some reason my dog goes outside to pee and then returns to pee on my floor. I put this carpet over my existing carpet and as usual within the first couple of days she pees and poos on it.. it did not seep through, just cleaned it up and threw it in the washer.. works perfect. bought the orange and one teal.

These things are amazing. They don't smell. They are easy to clean up and they don't look like potty pads. My dogs use them perfectly fine and they aren't such an eye sore.

I recommend a lighter color so you can see if the dog used it! Then its 5 star!!

Actually I’m buying more. These are handy and they don’t leak like the other pads. I have to touch them to know if they are wet. Washing them is easy in a quick wash and lay out to dry. They dry quick
