A water balloon fight is great outdoor water sports fun for kids and (grand)parents! Just fill the balloons with water and throw them.
Alternative use 1: Fill the balloons with water. Stretch a wire between two points, like a clothesline. Hang the balloons on the wire with clothespins. Use something safe - like a pea shooter - to aim and fire at the water balloons to make them burst.
Alternative use 2: Fill the balloons with water. Put them in the freezer. When frozen, fill a bucket with the ice balloons. Add some bottles or cans to the bucket to keep your drinks cold with a festive twist. (Safety tip: Never thow frozen water balloons!).
Alternative use 3: Fill the balloons with air. Bend some wire into any shape, for example a number (like 6). Tie the balloons to the wire. A great solution for colorful decorations. Ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, sweet sixteens, weddings and other special events.

I used a lot of these for a baking project and upon blowing them up, at least half of them had tiny holes in them. With 300 in the bag, I was able to make it work, but overall, not great quality.

I saw these and thought of how much fun my three-year-old daughter and I could have with them, so I got them. When they arrived, I was doubtful the pack really held 300 because there didn't look to be that many. I turned it into a counting lesson with my daughter, so we counted them out by fifties and but them into piles. There ended up being 301 balloons plus one broken one, so we actually received more than 300 balloons.The balloons have some sort of white powder dusting on them, which I think is to keep them from sticking together. I use my bathroom faucet to fill up the balloons. My faucet mouth is standard size and the first balloon I tried to stretch over the mouth broke like nothing. However, the next two did fine. Overall, they mostly do fine stretching over it, but sometimes they break. The balloons fill up a regular amount for water balloons. I haven't had any problem with them breaking on us without us meaning for them to break. They break easily when dropped on the ground, but I feel like that is the point most of the time. They were fairly easy to tie, but I wish they stretched as much as the average latex balloon. It seems as if they are a bit tighter.Water balloons make great summer fun. You can play catch with them (of course, the balloon breaking on you is the fun part) or use them for relays and games at birthday parties (e.g. dodgeball with water ballons). You can fill them with water and freeze them for a different sort of fun. I've also seen them be used as sensory play balloons in which they are filled with things that give them various textures (e.g. pudding, flour, rice, sugar). That is a great way for small children and toddlers to use them for education. A lot of creativity can be used with these.I like that this package comes with so many balloons because we can play with them at ease without having to worry about them running out very quickly. I'll be thinking up all sorts of fun ways for us to play with them.I received this product at a discount in exchange for product testing and a review.
