I live in a municipal area that needs to chlorinate its water - it's so concentrated that you can literally detect a chlorine odor by running the tap into the sink. you can certainly smell it out of a class, and ooh can you taste it. Thus, all of our water consumption, whether for humans, pets, or plants, has to pass through a filter first. These filters are so effective it's as if we're drinking from a completely different water source. ZERO hint of chlorine. None. It's as if we flipped a switch and diverted to new water pipes. Absolutely recommend.

INSTALLATION: The filter(s) fit the Pur Plus with an easy installation taking about 10 mimutes.TASTE: Comparing the taste of the water from this newly installed filter to different brand filter installed on a second faucet 3-4 weeks ago, the taste is slightly better.FLOW: Approximately 4-5 cups per minute, faster than the other filter, and is expected to last for 3 months or 100 gallons.WHY THE 4 STAR: The box, plastic they came in and the filters had no markings or identification (the box had the barcode and the company name). I had to review the product page for this information, but would like to have seen the important identifiers on either the box, the plastic or the filter. It lends credibility to the product. I'm assuming what is on the product page matches the filters. If the taste remains good and they do last 100 gallons/3 months, I would probably reorder.
