This one appeared to work unlike others on Amazon that are dead on arrival.I hope it holds up.As of now it’s a good deal instead of buying the OEM rip off.

Purchased for my 2012 searay 310, mercruise 5.0 engines with raw water cooling. These are mounted in the rear on the distribution valve. Not easy to get to but not an overall painful job. Took about 30 min. Original sensor read 2.5 psi at wot. This new switch now reads 29psi and holds steady. Unfortunately, it only worked for about a week before it malfunctioned and set off auto guardian system protection. Should have known better when I saw, made in China on box.

This product was advertised as an 8M6000623 which is the current OEM part number I need. I was sent a part that has been superseded and not recommended for use on my engine. To top it off I have to pay return shipping. Soo much for Prime.

This is listed as an OE Merc part - it is not. It's a generic made in China copy. Truth in advertising much? It worked...at least at first. After 2 outings it then failed. Paid the far-too-high price and bought a genuine Merc part to replace it.

Upon product recommendation, we used this in our boat. After only 3 trips, it broke - it failed - it left us stranded on the water. DO NOT purchase this for your boat. We have no ability to return it because we have had it for more than 30 days. Wish we could get our money back,

This sensor was purchased as a spare. My mechanic had ordered and installed two sensors that did not function correctly. I offered him my spare, that once installed resolved the issue, "low water pressure" on my port side 6.2L Mercruiser engine.
